- Zelda Ashby
Even if you let the first lap pileup slide, she made an unsafe merge into Roqueta, hit Cooper after he left his pit stall, clumsily ran into Adam Purcell for the all important 30th place... on paper, should have gotten more penalties than she did. To top it off, her race pace was pretty crap as well. This was a very easy decision -- given where she qualified.

- Spoiler:
- William Atkins: "It shouldn't be a shock Percy is performing."
Atlantic Motorsports team owner William Atkins has said that it should not come as a shock that Hannah Percy is pulling off the good performances she is in the TM Master Cup series and the Dash Cup series. Percy, at Surfer's Paradise, took the points lead in the Independent's Trophy after a three-race string of top 15 finishes, and also her first top 10, as she finished 9th at the virtue of other drivers being penalized.
Percy, who currently leads the Dash Cup championship entering the last race of the season at New York by 28 points, is the first driver to ever hold the points lead in the Dash Cup series and the Independent's Trophy after today's Round of Queensland, and while it comes as a shock to many that Percy, who was a Dash Cup rookie just last year, William Atkins says it is no fluke.
"Hannah is an exceptional driver. She can achieve great things." said William Atkins, "I am not shocked she's doing this well this year. We put her in the TM Master Cup series car because we knew she could do this well. She had a tough start to the TMMC season but I had faith she was capable of turning it around."
However, there is one major person this current run of good form is a shock to, and that is the driver herself, Hannah Percy, who says she never expected to be in the position she is.
"I knew we were back in it last week, but I can't believe we've actually taken the IT lead!" said Percy, "I know there still a lot of racing to do, and that we've hit our four races now, but if we can make Gravis City or Decatur and notch a good result, we could solidify our lead even more, and that's our aim now! It would be so great if I could pull of the Dash Cup and IT double, for myself and the team!"
Percy is not due to show up at any more regular events, but Percy will be at Gravis City, hoping to lock herself into the field and solidify her point lead with a good run.

Re: Race 18: Queensland
Davenport Suspended from Gravis City
Chris Davenport has been suspended from the upcoming Grand Prix of Gravis City for actions detrimental to TM Master Cup series racing. Davenport's surprising penalty reportedly is due to a tirade he had on the radio during the Round of Queensland aimed at race director Ryan Reinhart, and another similar tirade he had in the stewards office after the race had concluded.
"People can just run into me now and I get penalties. That's how it goes I guess." Davenport said during a phone interview.
"Everyone who saw that told me that I got screwed."
The oft-criticized race director was not available for comment.
