Music Legend David Bowie has Died

From the official David Bowie facebook page...so this is very real

January 10 2016 - David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief.

That's already two major music icons gone in the span of about 2 weeks. First Lemmy of Motorhead, now Bowie.

RIP

Space Oddity is always going to be his song. What's weird is he just released a album, 2 days ago.

He had a great music career, but Space Oddity will always be in my mind, as one of my favourite songs, and that song is the first ever music video shot in space, when Canadian astronaut, Chris Hadfield, performed a cover, which is really beautiful.

Rebel Rebel, Heroes, Modern Love, Space Oddity, Fame, Under Pressure, and many more.

Bowie was something special. He will be greatly missed. Somewhere up there though, I think Mercury is waiting with open arms.

There's not going to be another musical talent quite like Bowie. It comes as a shock especially as he only just released his final album two days ago, but upon listening to the album, it seems like it was his way of telling the world he was dying.



He was still making good music until, just about, the day he died. Thank you David. Rest in Peace.
