NASCAR at Road America and Canada
The Cup Series is off this weekend, but not to worry at all. The Xfinity Series is at ROAD AMERICA for the Road America 180 on Saturday. Paul Menard is the only Cup driver in this race. Brendan Gaughan held off Chase Elliott and a hard-charging Alex Tagliani in last year's excellent race in the wet for his 1st career series win.
The truck series is also on a road course this weekend, but there up north in Canadian Tire Motorsports Park in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada. Ryan Blaney won last year's race on a last-lap duel with German Quiroga. The race is Sunday.

I don't know where Alta is, but Blake Koch is leading the Xfinity race right now.

Okay, extending this caution is getting a little ridiculous...

Re: NASCAR at Road America and Canada
Only one Cup driver in this race, and he ended up winning it. Figures.
I know its Paul Menard, and it's a home win for him, but seriously, this Cuppiewinslol shit has gotten so old, it's become fossilized at this point.
First half was meh, second half was pretty good, and it was a surprisingly clean race, although the length of that last caution was a bit ridiculous. I know it was because of drivers having problems, but still...
Good win for Menard, but I'd rather have seen a regular win than a Cuppie.
The Road America 180 gets a 6.5/10, and this will probably be the only time I watch an Xfinity race this season.

I'd take Menard over any cuppie, though I kind of do consider him a ringer because of his background.
I wanted Bubba to win it so bad too, but 5th is good too

Totally cool with Paul Menard winning, even if I was pulling for everyone else besides him at the end.
After all, it's not like he wins a million billion of these races like Kyle Busch, Logano, Harvick, etc.

Plus it was his home race as well, so I'll take him winning any day.

They really reinforced Canadian stereotypes with that GSYE command there.

Tagliani is such a damn hypocrite. Cries up a storm after getting a bump and run, 2 weeks later, barges Cameron Hayley off the track when it's not even the last lap, then runs Cole Custer off the track only a couple corners later.

Really? A commercial with less than 10 laps to go?
Caution with 5 to go. Reddick took himself and Gaulding into the tire barrier by turn 8.
