British Grand Prix (F1)
F1 makes it's annual visit to the land of tea and crumpits and visits Silverstone for the 65th running of the British Grand Prix.
Last time the lights went out, Nico Rosberg wins the Austrian Grand Prix, (lol) and about 1 year ago, Lewis Hamilton wins the 2014 British Grand Prix. (lol)
So, does Mercedes continue humiliating the other 9 teams that are only out there to get sponsorship money, or does God Cthulhu crack a fast one causing the stars to align causing both Mercedes' to have problems and someone else wins?

And I will be going to this race, so I hope y'all see the good old britstick on TV behind the Sky Sports and BBC Sport cameras.

Can't wait to see the 20,000 pieces Sky and The Beeb devote to Lewis this weekend on YouTube.

In more interesting news, Manor is set to bring the first ever upgrades to their 2014/2015 F1 car.

We're going to have to fight over that title, Barney.

Manor gets a new sponsor starting this race.

To paraphrase from Money In The Bank 2011, If Manor dosen't score points, we riot.

Re: British Grand Prix (F1)
GP2 Sprint Race was pretty good (if you ignored the podium-getters, which the broadcast did the entire race)
Rossi got a 5 second penalty, and finished ahead of the car behind him by 5.3 seconds. Battle for 5th was between 4 cars the entire race, and Jordon King went from 22nd on the grid to 10th, started the last lap 1.4 seconds behind Vanderoone and came within inches of passing him.

Is a virtual safety car really needed :/
Rather have a real safety car, that bunches the field back together

Re: British Grand Prix (F1)
Probably the best race of the season so far and I turned it off twice and felt like I missed nothing. F1 sucks this year.

The first 20 laps were awesome to watch. But once Mercedes got out front it was all downhill.

Re: British Grand Prix (F1)
F1 is borderline unwatchable this year. Totally predictable. It wasn't fun when Schumacher & Ferrari were dominating every race, and it isn't fun now watching Hamilton & Rosberg paste the field.
Hopefully 2016 can mark the return of a proper Championship battle.

Re: British Grand Prix (F1)
In other news, Alonso scored his first point of the season finishing 10th. And since I was there for the weekend, I can say that out of all the races I saw, I think the Porsche Supercup race was the best of the weekend.
Re: British Grand Prix (F1)
Williams' strategy is the perfect reminder of why I don't support them. They had a great opportunity at the start of the race and squandered it with terrible strategy. Because when you have the slower car, letting the other team get an undercut on you with absolutely nothing to cover it is how you win... oh wait no it isn't.
