As is mine. The cars looked bad fast in the testing footage.

I'll be looking forward to this more than the Texas races.

I think it'll be alright.

Not related to this weekend's race, but IndyCar related anyway. The Indy 500 Pace Car was stolen and driven through the Glass Window of the Chevy Dealership where it was placed.

I'm pretty excited for this race, as well. Having never seen a race at this track before, I'm hoping that it will produce a good show!

Rain can mean one of three possible outcomes:

1. The race goes green in the wet, and we get a really interesting race with key shake-ups and some rain-related mishaps.

2. The race goes green in the wet, Firestone shits the bed, and it's a complete and total crashfest from flag to flag.

or, and this is the most likely one,

3. The completely flat, below-sea-level race track constructed in a swamp is converted into a temporary lake, and the race is a wash out.

I don't know the weather conditions, only that it is wet, so I was wondering whether conditions are very extreme or if the tyres are not capable of wet conditions?

I'm taking a guess here, but I'm assuming it's because it had something to do with qualifying being rained out.

Bourdais went off into a run off area, and merged on track. He then got penalized for blocking Kannan when he was getting out of his way!

If Simona or Hinchcliffe wins this... I will fall over laughing! I feel really bad for the track promoters, because they took a huge gamble on this, only to be screwed over by weather!

Next time Indycar, put this race toward the end of the year!

Re: Indy Grand Prix of Louisiana

Post by PackerMan71 on Sun Apr 12, 2015 4:48 pm

My thoughts on the GP of Louisiana:

Wow. What a train wreck.

My hopes were high for this race, but turned into a clusterf**k from the word go. The weather certainly played a part in that, but my goodness, I've never seen an IndyCar race this atrocious before. We literally had no racing. No green flag runs whatsoever. How the f**k does that happen? When I turn on a race, I expect there to be passing and side-by-side action and entertainment, not a freaking parade behind the pace car for over half the race.

It's great that Hinch got back to victory lane, but man, this race was just... God-awful.

The 2015 GP of Louisiana gets a 0/10. Reasoning for the score is this:

1. No green flag racing? No points.

2. I had high hopes for this race, and it turned out to be a massive disappointment.

Wow, what a God-awful weekend of racing. No

But thankfully, next week, we have NASCAR at Bristol and IndyCar at Long Beach, so I think the quality of racing will go up dramatically next weekend. Very Happy
