ARCA Racing Series - 2015 Preseason Testing @ Daytona

A 38-car testing session for the upcoming season of the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards took place earlier this afternoon. The top three slots on the time charts were all occupied by cars from Empire Racing with Sean Corr being the fastest, and eighth on the chart was Will Kimmel, the only car on the track debuting the series' new composite body by Five Star.

Having a Gen 6 in the field would be pretty goofy come February.

One of these things are not like the other

The Fivestar body is only going to be legal for tracks under a mile for the time being.

I like to think that the reason why the other body was on track to gather data on how it'll do in the draft.

I'm still trying to find a reason why they brought the Fivestar for Daytona.....oh well.

It could be a good reference point for whenever they are allowed to begin using composite bodies on the super speedways.
