CarView problem
Hi guys,
Bit stuck here. Trying to paint my 2015 Dash Cup truck, which going by the FIAM template I was given, uses the Smiffsden Pickup Truck Racing mod. I got hold of the DirectX mesh for the mod, and loaded it up in CarView...but every single time I load a skin, in any compatible format (TGA, JPG, BMP), the output is just jet black everywhere. Even the default detailing is missing. Even the default livery for the mod does this.
I tried putting the skin, the DirectX file and the CarView program all the same folder to see if that'd do it...no luck. I'm stuck. Anyone seen this before, know how to fix it?

Re: CarView problem
I think maybe the lighting causes this?

Re: CarView problem
If you haven't done so already, make sure the texture you import has the same filename as the default texture in the Carviewer folder. It's usually something like card.bmp.

Re: CarView problem
In the pickup mod its the Lighting's fault. Simply disable it.
