DEMO MOTORSPORTS TO RUN FARC TEAM?
DEMO Motorsports, an auto racing team that runs various cars around the Great Lakes, announced it's intention today to field a team in FARC for 2015. DEMO Motorsports previously attempted a FARC (then known as ARLA) race in 2012 and runs a team in the AST Voltson Super Trucks. Rumors indicate that Mack Gilder, a 32 year old modified driver from Wisconsin, will be the driver of the new #08 car. Rumors are also reporting that DEMO Motorsports will attempt to field a part time car for the newly formed FARC Super Series.
If the team is accepted, it would something look like this

Leckliter to come back next season
If you think he's leaving anytime soon, you have another thing coming. The man of many puns is going to return with the same number and sponsor as last year, he will also stay with Lenard.
No word on whether any of the younger Leckliters are returning, though it is likely.

Spannerhead Racing applies for full-time in both Elite Series and Truck Series
Delano-backed Spannerhead Racing looks to extend to full-time next in FARC. The team currently runs part time in Elite Series with Kerry Ians, and in the Truck Series with Dylan Andrew. Both drivers have contracts that go beyond 2015.
The team however may look at the Super Series has a viable option for a full-time, as the team doesn't see the value in running part-time any more.

Peak Williamson Race Tech concerned
Peak Williamson Race Tech, the new outfit who have attempted to enter TM Lights - as well as FARC and the Dash Cup - have become increasingly concerned at the lack of communication from series officials as to whether or not PWRT have gained entry into any of the series. This is a major issue for PWRT as their contract with Spaniard Carlos Cardona was for a TM Lights seat and the talented young driver will walk from the deal if it is not fulfilled. PWRT have sent Cardona's info and the livery for the #27 Repsol Lenard to TM Lights management and say that they have yet to hear from them as to whether the entry has been confirmed. It is possible that PWRT could buy their way into the series by taking over an existing team, but co-owner and team principal Rex Williamson stated that they prefer to enter a completely new team if possible.

2015
"I don't really know what to say. I do know that I definitely want to keep racing in FARC even if it's just part time. I officially am filing for at least two full time entries into the 2015 Elite Series and at least two entries for the trucks. Jinx Inc. has had a great couple of years yielding upwards of $5 million of profits each year for the past 3 years. If granted, I will only run part time for either myself or someone else should Bjorn Green or SPI want me to fill in from time to time. I do plan on hiring either struggling veterans with no rides or even rookies. I'll pay whatever needs to be paid to get back into the ownership fold for 2015."- Jinx Rodriguez
JINX Engines/JRD Looking to Sponsor 2015 Event
"Officially, we'd like to file to sponsor an event in the FARC tour in 2015. Jinx Inc. wants to be a bigger part of FARC in the future and we feel this will help. We'd like the officials to consider allowing us to sponsor an event in either the Elite or truck series or both. We hope to hear from the officials about any decisions soon." Jinx Inc. Rep.

Wesley Family Racing Focuses on Trucks
After weeks of speculation, Wesley Family Racing announced in a press conference at Chicago Motor Speedway that they will not return to the FARC Elite Series in 2015, instead focusing their attention on the FARC Truck Series. Team owner Carter Wesley explained his rationale for this move:
"There was a lot of thinking that went into this decision, it definitely wasn't easy. The biggest factor, unfortunately, is that we built too many 2014-spec cars and just couldn't afford to build the new Cromwells without selling off inventory. So we looked at where we were performance-wise, and we haven't been bad in the Elite Series, but we're thriving in the Truck Series right now. So for now, I think the next step for the future of this team will be to put more of our focus on the Trucks, because we definitely have a good program in place there. Neil (Miller) and Seth and Jacob (Wesley) are going to stick around, and we have enough money left, we're going to see if we can run a Super Series car with Neil. We'll see how it goes the next few months."
Singer Leaves Wesley Family Racing
Shortly after Wesley Family Racing's press conference, a representative for Aaron Singer announced that the 21 year-old would not return to the team in 2015.
"Mr. Wesley has new plans for his race team in 2015, and unfortunately those plans will not include Aaron. Aaron is grateful for the time he has had with Wesley Family Racing and is actively planning his future in motorsports. He has told us he expects several teams to be highly interested, and to bring his abilities to a competitive program."
Singer has already rumored to possibly join the new VTK Racing outfit in 2015, but that team is reportedly not his first choice It is expected that he would bring his family-funded Singer Hotels and Casinos sponsorship to whichever team may elect to sign him.
Singer is the second driver to leave the Virginia-based team in the last few months, after Richard Scott announced he will be leaving FARC after the 2014 season.

Macena not staying on VTK. VTK Racing searches a new driver
Right after winning his second race in his rookie season, the brazilian Gabriel Macena confirmed the rumors that he'll not stay in FARC for 2015.
"I can't feel like staying on FARC anymore, if the series is just getting smaller, barely there's competition and I feel better running in a bigger series. If I can't, I'll search for a new ride here."
There's no acknowledge wheter where Macena is heading, but the two largest possiblities are that he'll stay with BlackDiamond Racing in TM Lights, or he'll stay with BDR, running for their FARC operation.
This keeps Luc Pellerin as the team's sole driver, Pellerin was signed to run the team's secondary car, but with Macena getting out of the team, Pellerin will be moved to the primary seat.
The team still searches for a secondary driver, and the biggest hope for the team is signing Aaron Singer, but reportedly, VTK's is not his first choice.
VTK Racing could end up promoting Ross Carter, which will drive for the team in the Super Series, to the Elite Series, in a desperate attempt to fill the void left for Macena.

Allie Riggs, Stacie & Mason St. Martin signed to Arnold Pine
Arnold Pine Racing has announced that Allie Riggs, Stacie St. Martin, and St. Martin's younger brother Mason will be joining Kenny Brillon at the team to contest the 2015 FARC season. Mason St. Marti, 15, has never driven in a FARC race before.
APR will acquire the St. Martin's sponsorship package and Riggs's remaining Allie's Super Sports equipment as part of the deal. Riggs referred to the deal as a "[expletive] relief". The team's exact schedule is unknown, but team owner Arnold Pine was optimistic over the possibility of being able to compete in both the Elite Series and Super Series.
Arnold Pine Racing debuted in FARC in 1988 with Kenny Brillon, and the pair went on to win the Rockford 200 in 1996. The team started racing again in 2012, and Brillon currently holds 3 FARC Regional Cup victories in 2014.

Kelly Splison to head to the FARC Super Series full time, to be sponsored by Cruze-In Auto Detailing
Seems that Kelly Splison may be heading to the Super Series full time next year after a failed attempt to secure a ride in the Elite Series. She's been running on a part time schedule since the 2011 season and wishes to have a more secure ride for next year. Her 2011 sponsor, Cruze-In Auto Detailing has been rumored to be her primary sponsor for the upcoming season. Associates that have been rumored are McGee's and Horizons Trucking. She hopes to secure her current number in the Elite Series.
Barry Spengler set to head up to the Super Series, bringing in Archie's Bar and Grill
After taking a break from the racing world, Spengler is set to return to racing by entering the FARC Super Series after Archie's contacted him about supporting a venture into the series. He hopes to retain his old number from the Trucks Series but will be okay with a different number. He is also attempting to run full time in the series.

Lora Ocean to be released from Flying High Motorsports. Flying High Motorsports to release new driver line-up, but with new co-owner?
"I can't reveal whose going to be part of this team but Lora Ocean I can tell you won't be. Granted she got a win and had a few good finishes, but she is so poorly in the way of consistency and there is no real excuse for it. Also, the repair bills from her constant crashing just are getting ridiculous." - Alice Hawk

Former FARC LoBo Truck Tour Winner Kyle Cobb Looking to Return in 2015
Kyle Cobb, winner of the 2013 Burnarse Propane at Nebraska is planning to return to FARC competition in 2015. It was announced Friday that Donyd Digital (Sylized DonyD), a leading American digital camera manufacturer, signed a multi-year contract with Kyle Cobb to potentially compete full time in the FARC Super Series. Cobb, who took a year away from racing to focus on school is now 16 and ready to begin racing again full-time. Donyd Digital CEO and head of marketing Donnie Davidson had this to say "Kyle has a lot of great potential and is young and ready to win. He clearly has the spirit and the skill because he's already run successfully in the big leagues before. I love this sponsorship opportunity because it is highly mutual beneficial for both of us, and I'd love to see him excel with his great talent." Donyd would like to pay a parent team to supply race cars and equipment for their team but Donyd said they would run their own cars if they needed. No word yet on what cars they'd run but it is rumored Lenard is at the top of their list with the most likely number being 747 to go back to Cobb's racing roots.

Re: 2015 FARC Silly Season
Lester uncertain of 2015; in talks with Ike Durbin Incorporated, Peak Williamson Race Tech?
In a part-time campaign in the FARC LoBo Truck Tour, owner/driver Casey Lester seems to have gained composure as the season has progressed and has shown flashes of brilliance in his attempts; the best result of his season was a 3rd place finish at Talladega. With the season approaching the final stretch, Lester has tried not to look at the offseason just yet, but the press managed to bring it to his attention this weekend as he encountered a small group of FARC reporters on Saturday who had a few questions for the 27-year-old to answer.
"It's been a taxing season having to worry about repair bills on top of performing well and getting my name out there.", said Lester when asked about how his first season of FARC competition has been. "At least the All-Star car is obsolete now that we're getting the new bodies next season, so I have to thank Jen Walker for not making me repair what's left of it. But if possible, I'd love to return to the Elite Series at some point."
One reporter asks "What's in store for you next season? Are you planning on staying put in Trucks or is there any other series you had in mind of becoming involved in?"
"I'm not gonna sugarcoat this for you; next year's up in the air right now. I have been talking to a Mr. Ike Durbin in regards to something for next year that I'm not gonna tell you just yet. I've become really close with him over the past few years and he's definitely someone I feel comfortable working with in the future. He's one of those people who doesn't create much stress in the garage, someone who you can be casual with and still get business done. That'd probably be one of the most optimatl settings I could be in and I could probably produce some big results with him supporting me. Also, there's this new Peak Williamson group that's a bit new to the garage in Lights. They've talked to me a little bit, but I think the only way I'll get a shot with them is if I can really up the ante in these last few races (meaning something like three Top 5's or a win), but that's just me setting expectations that aren't quite concrete. I'll announce stuff when I'm given permission to. Until then, predict to your hearts' content."
Reports of a Lester-IDI deal have been circulating for a few weeks, but not many details have been released. Lester himself is the only person who has publically mentioned a possible deal with the new Peak Williamson Race Tech team who intends to compete in TM Lights and FARC in 2015.

STARTEC RACING LOOKING TO MAKE THEIR MARK AS A NEW TEAM
The Los Angeles based racing team has been considering to participate in the Elite Series of FARC for a while, and after acquiring sufficient sufficient funds to pull together a full-time single car team, Startec Racing now has their chance to finally get into some racing action. Not much is known about this race team since they are a brand new team just established not too long ago, but their intentions are ambitious and they're confident that they could bring in okay results. They have already a driver, Efrain Garza, to pilot their #731 Lenard machine, but haven't yet cemented a sponsor deal.
On Monday, team owner Pancho Fuentes stated "We're still looking for someone who is willing enough to have as our main sponsor. When you're starting a new team and such, these sponsors are pretty tough to get because they aren't too confident in you. The companies calling either pay too little or give us a bad image."
"However, despite the fact that we have no sponsor yet, I feel that Efrain can let his driving do the talking. We've invited some people to watch the local races and see if they're impressed by his driving. Maybe by then 'alguien van a llamar'."
Efrain Garza, who is 17 years of age, has been proving himself in the local Southern California short track scene. With some possible potential, the Mexican-American driver is capable of turning heads with his aggressive driving style.
"My u-uncle, the team owner of this thing, he saw me driving one day and he said 'Mijo, let's do something with that talent.' I talked to him and he claimed he was interested in this FARC thing I heard about. I mean I'm kinda nervous about it but I think I can do good."
StarTec Racing is rumored to currently be in talks with San Pedro based 'Sunken City Skate Clothing Co.' for their main sponsor.
Here is the 2015 drivers chart:

#731: Efrain Garza - Sponsor TBA - Lenard
The Los Angeles based racing team has been considering to participate in the Elite Series of FARC for a while, and after acquiring sufficient sufficient funds to pull together a full-time single car team, Startec Racing now has their chance to finally get into some racing action. Not much is known about this race team since they are a brand new team just established not too long ago, but their intentions are ambitious and they're confident that they could bring in okay results. They have already a driver, Efrain Garza, to pilot their #731 Lenard machine, but haven't yet cemented a sponsor deal.

PWRT offers Lester elite ride
Newly formed team Peak Williamson Race Tech today offered Casey Lester a full time ride in the FARC Elite Series. The outfit had planned to enter TM Lights as well as FARC this season, however their effort to enter Lights has not been successful and has been put off to next season.
PWRT will still enter FARC, however, with at least a two-Lenard assault in the Elite series on the cards. Co-owner Rex Williamson stated that he hoped Lester accepted the deal as "it would be great to have a driver of his caliber on the team". It is unknown as yet who would be the second driver, though it is possible that a full-fledged merger of Lester Racing into PWRT could occur, with Martin Jackson from the DiEmAr Chassis Regional Cup stepping up.
Casey Lester could not be reached for comment.

Cardona could get another chance to drive for PWRT
Having failed to secure a race seat with PWRT in TM Lights and Dashcup, Cardona have again signed an interest in racing for PWRT in Car No.26, this time in FARC Elite Series.
While Cardona's hopes of securing a race seat begins to fade, Jose Bautista (Cardona's Manager) said that he is looking in for other opportunities for Cardona to take part in including a possible Testing role with Formula A.
"Earlier on, Cardona was expecting to race in TM Lights, but because his team isn't accepted, Cardona was unable to get a seat in TM Lights. But still, we are still looking in a range of other opportunities for him to keep his career going as a driver who had just won the Spanish F3 Title, he deserves a drive somewhere, but we don't know yet and we are hoping to get more news about his plans for the future", Cardona's manager Jose said in a Spanish Television Interview with TVE Sports.
While Cardona continues to wait for a reply, some rumours has accured around Spain that Cardona could be lucky enough to get a seat that is competitive enough to win races and titles.

News has come out that Sunken City Skate Clothing Co. will sponsor the #731 Lenard driven by Efrain Garza for the whole season. Team owner Pancho Fuentes now waits for confirmation to enter the elite series with the 17 year old driver.
"I'm very enthusiastic about our deal, it could definitely help with some costs."

Lester to PWRT confirmed, Cardona a possibility?
Peak Williamson Race Tech today confirmed the signing of Casey Lester to drive the #27 Lenard in the 2015 FARC Elite series. Lester joins the team after competing for his own team, Lester Racing, in 2014. Rex Williamson commented: "[The signing] is a big boost for the team. We are a new outfit and with Casey onboard we have shown that we aim to be right up there with the best".
It is rumoured that Spanish youngster Carlos Cardona, who was actually signed by PWRT for their proposed TM Lights team before they found that they were not accepted into the series this season, could fill the remaining #26 seat, bringing his sponsors Repsol, Consum and TVE to the team. PWRT confirmed that they are talking to Cardona's management, but made no further comment.

GRI SIGNS POPULAR FREE AGENT RICHLER
After the blockbuster announcement of popular FARC driver Caitlin Richler being released from her ride by Henry Sylvester, several high profile teams offered rides to the young Alaskan driver, but ultimately settled on Gravity Racing, Inc. for the 2015 season.
According to team owner Packer Carroll, Richler is currently scheduled to drive the #70 car, but could be moved over to drive the team's flagship #71 if Rachel Rainsford decides not to re-sign with the team. Rainsford has been driving for GRI for the past three seasons, with two wins and pair of top ten points finishes with a third in the making, and a high finish of third in points in 2013.
PACKER: We are definitely hoping to keep Rachel around for 2014. She's brought the team a lot of success the past three seasons. Even though she has just the two wins, she's been very successful in the points standings and nearly won us the title last year, so we'd really like to keep her around, especially with Caitlin coming into the fold next year.
Even though Rainsford has not won yet this season with two race weekends to go, she is currently 6th in the championship.

Focus Autosports’ Modified Program Not to Return in 2015
Focus Autosports will not be contesting the series where the team scored its first FARC victory in the upcoming 2015 season.
Giuseppe Fochesato, the owner and driver of the #22 car in the series’ Crown Modified class, began fielding and racing his own car in the FARC Modifieds presented by Calvert Ignitions this year, looking for a driver’s experience to enjoy during the racing season in addition to his role as co-owner of the team. He had moved up to the tour as the defending track champion in the Modifieds class at the 7/16-mile Berlin Raceway in Michigan.
Fochesato stated that funding for the new season would not have been an issue, as the entry has been funded largely out-of-pocket by himself. Focus Autosports is starting up an operation in the new FARC Duckroll Super Series with the resources from their part-time 2014 Elite Series bid, and the team will be cutting its Modifieds program in the hopes of putting more focus towards its FDSS and FARC Truck Series teams.
It was also stated by Fochesato that his relative success as a FARC Modifieds racer this year has satisfied him enough to where he is not as reluctant to hang up the helmet, at least for the time being. There is no word as to whether or not Giuseppe will return to the racing as a driver beyond next year.

Cardona set to race Part-Time with PWRT, fellow spaniard Rosa to take over Full-time Role?
Young Spanish Driver Carlos Cardona who is currently signed to race in FARC with PWRT has been recently offered a place to race for TM Lights with Team Timothy.
This was followed by a response to Cardona's Manager Jose from an Official (not to be named for Private Reasons) that Cardona has been offered to sign for the TT Seat partnering alongside 2 other drivers, one is confirmed to be Durane Ridman. The other is yet to be confirmed.
Despite recently signing for FARC Full-time, Cardona has decided to accept the offer for TM Lights and is waiting for his seat to be confirmed. He also understands that if his seat does get confirmed, his full-time seat at FARC will be reduced to Part-Time and that Mateo Rosa, a fellow Spanish driver who was racing for ECCS (Euro Stock Car Series) will take over the Full-time Role from 2015.
Mateo Rosa, 25, has been racing in the ECCS since 2010, but has recently planned his intentions to move into either Dashcup, FARC and TM Master Cup, in order to improve his financial backings.

Ike Durbin, Inc. Full 2015 Plans Announced
Yesterday, in an Ike Durbin, Inc. press release, the team finally announced their full plans for the 2015 season, which will see a shake-up in the lineup, but maybe not one as extreme as originally thought, if it weren't for the new Super Series. Ryan Griffin, who recently stated on Twitter that he had not been focusing on his future plans has appeared to sign a one-year extension to his contract. Griffin will continue to pilot the team's 86 in the FARC Elite Series, with Bloody X and HP Engine Parts both returning to split the duties as primary sponsor for Griffin. It was announced that they are still looking for partners to finish out the schedule.
Surprisingly, Griffin will pilot the only full-time Elite Series ride for Ike Durbin, Inc. in 2015. Although it had been rumored, it was unknown whether IDI's second team would move over to the FARC Super Series. Those rumors were confirmed, along with the announcement that Tanner Clason would indeed return to the seat. Retaining number 79, Grandmaster Dragon and Gemini Software have already signed back on to sponsor Clason. Coletta, one of Clason's part-time primary sponsors for 2014, will not return and has yet to be replaced. The team claims that they hope to run a part-time Elite Series car for Clason as well as a part-time Super Series car, possibly for up-and-comer Geo Arias, who was announced to be returning to the team.
Arias, who has scored two FARC LoBo Truck Tour wins this season, was not known to be returning to FARC in any capacity in 2015, but due to stellar runs, has been signed back on to drive the 86 truck, and sponsor HoodCorp. Archery will return. He will split the ride with Casey Lester, who was recently signed on to drive in the FARC Elite Series for another team. No word on who will sponsor Lester, however rumors are that night club Verdant could fill the void.
The team may have support from Great Lakes Motorsports, a team which runs in the TM Lights Series, as IDI could buy secondhand Lights equipment. Ike Durbin and Ryan Griffin both have connections with the team. IDI could also have Lenard support, however this is in question as well.

Smith-Thompson looking to make return to racing:
It's been a long summer and fall for Billy Ray Smith-Thompson.
Injured in a May crash at the New York Autoring, Smith-Thompson's days have been spent letting his broken leg heal and waiting for his concussion symptoms to subside.
But with his leg back close to 100% and being diagnosed as symptom-free, the next thing on Smith-Thompson's agenda is to get back in a race car.
And he hopes to do it in the newly-formed Duckroll Super Series.
"I'm dyin' to get back behind the wheel," he said. "The docs tell me I've healed up really well, but I've still got a little ways to go. I'm hopin' though. Glad you got to talk to me."
Smith-Thompson has applied for his No. 42 he drove in the Elite Series and in his handful of LoBo Truck Tour starts. It is believed that The Home House will return to sponsor him.

Kenn Groves announces driving lineup
Longtime FARC competitor Kenn Groves confirmed that the #78 Kenn Groves Racing team would return to the FARC Elite Series in 2015 with a handful of drivers.
2-time race winner Andrea Kinasa extended her contract with KGR, and she will be joined by 18 year-old Greg Gray, who won the DiEmAr Cup race at Disney World for GB East Racing earlier in the year.
While Kinasa and Gray will take up the majority of the team's schedule, KGR has also signed Jeff Little for another go at the M. Fenton's Summer Special at Buffalo Downs, and they will also show up for FARC's annual trip to Mosport Raceway with Tyler McDermott, the 16 year-old son of OEN broadcaster Earl McDermott. McDermott holds 3 late model feature wins at Barrie Speedway in 2014.
KGR's schedule will be supported by the team's partnerships with Marlisle and Duncan Racing Solutions, with additional sponsorship from Terry Gray's Grease Burger franchise and Duckroll Tires.

Macena Motorsports returning in 2015. Annouces Lineup.
In the aftermath of the Vicker Collision and Glass 200, it was annouced that Macena Motorsports will return on 20 15 with a rather new lineup. Luc Pellerin, that drove for M&J Racing, Lucstar Motorsports and Ike Durbin, Inc. in the 2013 season. Gabriel Macena, that won Lake Afton and Chicago, will do only two starts in the car, possibly on road courses. Ross Carter, that drove in the Truck Tour and Formula Overdrive, being the 2013 champion of the series. Modifieds driver Charlotte Elliott will drive for the team in a possible companion event between Elite Series and Master Spark Modifieds.
The team hopes to field two cars, with Luc Pellerin and Ross Carter running most of the season in the #02, and Gabriel Macena running most of the season in the #12, with Charlotte Elliott driving the car at Mosport.
S-Tech announcing 2015 plans for FARC
Heading into the final weekend of the 2014 season, Aoi Tanazaka had not discussed much on the 2015 plans, when asked about this question she only responded with a low amount of changes for the team heading into 2015, the team will stay in the Elite Series with Jessica Graham piloting the 59, while Izayoi Watches stays with the team heading into 2015.

Megan Driver in stable condition but paralyzed. Will be released from the hospital in March and hired on as part of the team's Safety Department as a manager.
Megan Driver, who was seriously injured at the New York Autoring, will be working as the team's Safety Manager when she is released from the Hospital sometime in March. Until such time she is cleared, William Neilson will be an interim manager.
ASCC vets heading to FARC?
Rumors are afoot that a couple of ASCC vets are heading to the Elite Series or Super Series with McGee's or Freddy Fazbear's Pizza as their primary sponsor. Calvin Hobbes, an ASCC veteran, will be in the driver's seat. The team is set to reserve either the number 41 or 96. Peter Simpson, another vet of the ASCC, will be on point to take Hobbes's place if Hobbes secures a ride in the ASCC.
Confirmed Teams:
#41 - Zack Webster - Supercharged Energy - Accelerator Motorsports (FARC Elite Series) - Lycoia
Rumored Teams:
#41(?)/#96(?) - Calvin Hobbes/Peter Simpson - McGee's or Freddy Fazbear's Pizza - Accelerator Motorsports - (FARC Super Series or Elite Series) - Lycoia
#41(?)/#96(?) - Kelly Splison - Cruze-In Auto Detailing or Sticky Hooves Glue - Accelerator Motorsports (FARC Super Series or Elite Series) - Lycoia
#69 - Barry Spengler - Archie's Bar and Grill - Spengler-Anderson Racing - (FARC Super Series) - Saar

PWRT searching for sponsorship, Cardona released to concentrate on TM Lights
Peak Williamson Race Tech, who will enter FARC with teams in both the Elite and Super Series, are searching for sponsorship for their 4 Lenards, all of which are currently underfunded. At the moment, only the #27 Elite entry of Casey Lester has sponsorship, from his 2014 sponsor Loan Wolf Bank.
The other three cars remain blank, although it has been rumoured that the team has been talking to a number of businesses regarding sponsorship, notably Geo Lens, who are interested in the #62 and #72, and Spanish brewery Topo Chico for the #26 of Spanish driver Mateo Rosa, who has replaced his fellow countryman Carlos Cardona, who was released to concentrate on his TM Lights career. Padilla sweets have also been speculated for the #26.

PACKER THINKING ABOUT RETURN TO FARC ELITE SERIES?
(OOC: Forecasting a bit here, because I don't envision my namesake having much Cup success this season. )
Three years after he left for the TM Master Cup Series, GRI team owner Packer Carroll may be looking to return to the FARC Elite Series to drive his trademark #71 car.
PACKER: After careful consideration, I've realized that my racing career has pretty much come to a standstill. I'm just not having the success I've hoped for in Cup, and the chances of me landing at a top tier team in 2015 is slim to none. So I've watched what my good friend Ryan [Matthews] has done by returning to FARC after a terrible season in Cup. He's close to winning the championship driving his own car, and I figured, why can't I do the same? My team is more than capable of being a championship contender, and I think returning to the #71 FARC Elite Series car is the tonic I need to revitalize my career.
As for Rachel Rainsford?
PACKER: Well, she's been in the Elite Series for the last four years, and she's driven for us in three of those years. I think she's anxious to move back up the ranks, whether it be Lights or Cup, so if she doesn't get a full-time Cup ride in 2015, we'd like to move her up to the TM Lights if she's interested.

Team Thunder plans to return in 2015
Team Principal Michael Rutana announced today that Team Thunder would continue to compete in the FARC Elite Series in the same capacity as last season, with one full time car and second car that would show up to selected events.
"Our season last year was not as successful as we were hoping. We did get to Victory Lane again, so that's always a plus. We've ordered a surplus of this year's TM Lights cars, so we'll be giving those a spin here in the Elite Series. Maybe it will give us an advantage on the rest of the field."

RUS Autosport planning to continue on in 2015
RUS Autosport, the most famous of the foreign teams to compete in the FARC Elite Series, are planning to continue to throw oodles of cash into their frankencars. Team Owner Vitaly Tsolikov reportedly stated that while he was frustrated with the Elite Series' lack of judgement when cancelling the Russian Grand Prix, he understood that many of the teams did not have the money to make the trip to Russia like he could. RUS Autosport is planning on fielding the #82 car again next year, with Lev Azarov and Radomir Stanoytchev returning to the car. Headed into the final race of the 2014 season, the RUS Autosport combined team was 10th in points.

TDR Takes Shape For 2015, Hayes Returning & a Surprise...
Tom Delgado Racing has begun to take shape heading into the final race weekend of the 2014 season. The team announced that championship contender Jim Hayes will return in 2015, but his contract includes a TM Master Cup release clause. If he were to receive an offer to run there in 2015, he would be allowed out of his contract.
Also coming out of the TDR camp was a very surprising announcement: the legendary 4-division race winner Tom Delgado will contest the 2015 FARC Elite Series championship. Delgado, 40, won at Lake Afton this season as a substitute driver for his wife Ashley Tucker at Bjorn Green Racing. Delgado previously signaled that he would never go full time again due to his ownership commitments, but with the success of TDR, he feels that he can afford to do so.
Still no news on the statuses of reigning series champion Joseph Howard or Rookie of the Year leader Frank Azure, and there probably won't be any news on those two drivers until after the season finale.

Frank Azure hands FAC's FARC program to his wife; new name
FAC Motorsports has been really quiet about their 2015 FARC plans after a slightly improved 2014 season where they have been in the top 20 in points for a good part of the season. However, after qualifying for the 50/50 Sprints for the season ending FARC Lone Star Championships, owner Frank Azure announced that his wife Kathryn Azure would take over all FARC related operations after the season. It was questioned why Frank would forfeit control of the FARC program, but it is believed that one of the reasons could be that they want to put all their focus on bigger series.
"We want to increase the longevity of our team and at the same time we want to set up a platform in order to develop drivers. We thought that with the direction FARC is going in, we thought that putting so much into FARC would actually hurt our other programs. We didn't field a car in TM Lights this season for that reason. With that in mind, we thought it would be best for the whole team if the FARC program was its own seperate team." Frank stated about the move.
"I think the FARC team will be in good hand with Kate. She knows how to handle the business side of things, and plus she has a hell of a lot more patience than I do. *laughs* But anyway I think she'll do fine. The team will still be affiliated with FAC, but Kate will be the one making most of the business decisions. Think of this more as our development division."
Kathryn also announced that the new FARC program will go under the name KAT Motorsports. The team has expressed interest in returning full time in the Elite Series, but those plans could depend on what FAC does with Nick Azure. If they do return full time in the Elite Series, they have kept the option open on running multiple drivers if Nick does move to another series. The team will also likely field a car in the new Super Series. While there has been no word on drivers for that entry, it is likely Frank Azzaretto will retain his seat.
