Ok, I just reinstalled Windows, so I don't have Sony Vegas, nor NR2003.

I still have all carfiles and schemes, but will take some time to get all my things sorted out here, so I'll be doing write-up reviews for all races until California (COTA, Barber, Houston, Las Vegas ,LV Autoring and Laguna Seca) will be write ups or screenshot reviews.

Also, Monday my school tests start, so you won't be seeing me around here or the GOMA TS until Friday.

Re: 2017 Professional Auto Racing Tour (Silly Season)

Post by Memoriesallbutdone on Mon Sep 01, 2014 6:52 pm

Ups and downs is the easiest ways to describe Yan Motorsports the past 7 races, with Jessica Yan stealing a win from Daniel Yan, and top 5s and 10s all around, while others resulted in poor finishes for people who didn't need them like Emma Yan.

"Proud of this team, we are 2nd in points. I truly feel we can win this championship. We just need to hit the marks a bit better with a few of these races due to the fact we will run good in one race but not another." - Daniel Yan

"After winning the opener, I had high hopes and still do. Sitting 5th is nothing to be upset about, just want to get back on top." - Sean Cao

"Winning a race is such an incredible feeling, and to do it against my our family and teammate makes it feel all the more better. For a team that has no funding, I cant really complain with how this season has gone, considering we won and are 15th in points, the upper part of the field." - Jessica Yan

"We managed to win, but I guess I am being too aggressive sometimes cause I will crash and get poor finishes. But Jessica and I have wins for this team, so we are doing just fine. Wish we were higher in the points, but that's mainly on me." - Jerry Yan

"It's frustrating as hell when your teammates are winning and at the top of the points battle, while your struggling and running like complete ****. With the exception of several drivers like backmarkers, we have one of the highest numbers of DNFs this season and that sucks. That's my thoughts on it and that's all I'll say about it." - Emma Yan

Kristoph and Co. Racing celebrate 1-2-3 finish at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

Tristan Kristoph celebrates his 4th win of the season at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in style as his teammates Ollie Cendale-Nolan and Lucia Moreno followed him across the line to notch a 1-2-3 finish in the battle race.

Cendale-Nolan made it a sweep of the weekend with his first win of the season. This finishes up the best weekend for the team in APRS history.

Kristoph and Co. have yet to win since then, but Kristoph remains 4th in points, while Cendale-Nolan is 6th, and winless Moreno is a ways down in 24th.

Spoiler:
As Daniel Yan stumbles down to 5th in points. Jerry and Jessica make huge gains, moving up to 9th and 10th. Sean Cao continues to slide, down into 11th place and Emma Yan, 30th last time, now up to 17th.

Race 14 - Kansas

Spoiler:
Daniel Yan, Ollie Cendale-Nolan and Dwight Johnson were supposed to miss Heartland Park, returning at Milwaukee, since Heartland won't be run - that track sucks - they'll be ok to run at Milwaukee, since this race (the Milwaukee 100) would be almost one month after Kansas.

Spoiler:
Pellerin rips Noami Baldwin a new one!

Rebecca Pellerin after a big wreck in the reverse race was after Baldwin when she left he car, words were exchanged.

Pellerin : She just turned me, almost ended my race, that was a hard hit, i'm still sore after that. She needs to learn how not to wreck people, but since she has a better team/car, she can get away with it, hopefully I can dish out some revenge at Milwaukee.

Vallee has miserable weekend.

Pascal : Just shitty luck I guess... We just trying to survive the year with all these wrecked cars...

Sean Cao commented: "Was happy to get a top 10 this weekend, we needed that."

Emma Yan spoke with the press: "I am so proud to get 3-2 finishes this weekend. It is so much to fun run up front and be competitive! I wish my teammates had a better weekend, but hey I'll take it, I don't want to give up on the championship yet, and neither does any of our team."

Great concern was circulating around Daniel Yan. He crashed hard in the battle race, but was fine, but then in the reverse grid race he was involved in a scary crash where Daniel went flying and flipping in the air, landing hard. Daniel, put down the window net and got out, but instantly sat down. He was brought to the care center at the track but came out shortly after and spoke: "I'm alright, just some bumps and bruises, just really scared me. Your driving into smoke and the next thing you know, your flying seeing the grandstands upside down isn't settling. I'll be fine, just unsettled after seeing that."

Spoiler:
Pellerin IRATE over stolen win, lashes out at Jody White, vows revenge

Pellerin, who had this race in her hands got screwed more than some wrestler in Montreal in 1997! Pellerin had some major suspension damage after a pit incident with the 3 of Jody White.
Autosport France has requested a MAJOR PENALTY to the 3 car, or they will take care of buisness on their own terms.

Pellerin : This fucking sucks, we had they win, and got fucked by the 3 who had a bad day, and took it on us, what a fucking ass, i'm going to wreck him for the rest of the year if I have too, I'm not taking this shit anymore, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We got screwed, Plain and Simple!!!

Autosport France : This is why we will be moving a majority of our operation to Dash Cup in 2015. The drivers and officials are actually good. It sucks to get taken out, I've told both Pellerin and Vallee, to wreck ANYONE THEY WANT.... This is enough, our racecars are getting destroyed by stupid people who should not be racing like Jody. If you get wrecked, it's your own damn fault!!

*The team is so pissed, that they forgot that Pascal Vallee finished 7th*

Jessica Yan gets 2nd as Daniel Yan gets 9th in first race of American 100, while Jerry Yan gets 3rd and Sean Cao gets 6th in second race. Emma Yan, nowhere to be found. Points championship doesn't involve them, likely being too far back to do anything for title.

Emma Yan was the only Yan Motorsports car to not be in top 10 this week. Also, no driver from Yan Motorsports appeared in top 10 twice, so team's consistency is really off.

Since I'm close to post race 19 of the championship (Decatur), let's start with the silly season rumors and changes:

Kazami Out, Tachibana In at KRT

The first known move in 2015 is that Yuno Kazami is out of Kouyama Racing Team, giving place to the former sportscar driver Megumi Tachibana, since Tachibana brings sposnorship, while Kazami doesn't.

Kelly Ashcroft won't be full-time in 2015

Kelly Ashcroft could be heading to the NPCC instead of staying in the #9 for one additional year, her older sister Julia will take over the #9, while Kelly will do selected starts in the #09.

CJK Racing having one extra car for the upcoming season

The CJK Racing team will have three cars composing their lineup for 2015, the regular drivers will keep their status quo, with the #30 being driven by Charlie Martin and the #33 being driven by Mike Dennis Jr. and the third car of the team, #40, will be taken by Anthony Wash.

Elton Nelson retiring at the end of 2014

Elton Nelson is going to retire from full-time competition at the end of 2014 to take care of owner duties at John Nelson Racing, the team formed by his great-grandfather John Nelson Sr., one of the founders of the APRS. With this move the team rechristens to Nelson Racing.
Naomi Baldwin will continue in the team and Bianca Dawson exits to possibly race in the NPCC.

(OOC: In the TMPedia page for 2015 I already added the teams that possibly will return by their performance. New teams may also join the series.)

Pellerin : More lap car wrecks that i should not be involved in, pathetic...

*Vallee refused to comment after the incident with the 44 car*

Autosport France to buy Real American Racing for R&D purposes, also reveal 2015 plans.

The french team, has concluded a deal with RAR for the ownership of the 17 and 76 cars, which will likely be used for R&D. RAR will still be organized by owner John Hill. The Autosport France part will be more exposure for the little team.

They also revealed their 2015 lineup.

27 - Rebecca Pellerin, Pizza Delight, Saar.
88 - David LeBlanc, Tim Horton's, Saar.

Spoiler:
Emma Yan furious with Tim Johnson, rather then going to victory lane to celebrate with her teammate and brother, hunts down Johnson and starts a fight. Daniel Yan wins round one, with Emma getting runner up again and Sean Cao getting 9th. Jessica Yan only highlight for Yan Motorsports in round two snagging 5th, with Cao and Emma Yan causing accidents

Emma Yan was absolutely furious Tim Johnson. She was seen walking over to where Tim Johnson parked his car after the race and once Johnson got out, Yan started yelling and cussing him out, before throwing a punch, hitting him square in the nose before all hell broke loose. Emma was seen tending her hand after the punch, mutter "Damn that ****** has a hard head". She refused to comment about it, just getting into her hauler afterwards. Emma Yan, is now the only part of Yan Motorsports who hasn't won this season.

Daniel Yan, who was a serious threat for the championship early but faded as of lately, finally gets his first win and commented from victory lane: "A lot of craziness happened out their today. With first my sister getting taken out by a lap car and then the top 3 all wrecking themselves. You got to love when the opportunity opens up for you like that. Can't believe we got our first win here of all places. Wish we were closer to the top in points, but you take what you can get and it feels good to be here". Daniel was spun on lap 1 of round two and ruined his chances to a solid run early on.

Sean Cao gets 9th, but that isn't good enough to overcome other point contenders and break much of the point lead. Cao also caused a couple of accidents in round two but didn't apologize saying "I'm holding my line, I'm not giving an inch. You sweep across my bumper then your going bye bye".

Jerry Yan, wrecked himself in round 1 and was nowhere in round 2. No comment from him.

Jessica Yan also was nowhere all weekend.

Daniel Yan, get 2nd and 3rd place finishes this weekend. Sean Cao gets 10th in the second race. Rest of team refuses to comments.

Cao didn't really want to be interviewed however Daniel Yan was more then happy to speak to the media.

"That was incredible. Getting our first win last week and then getting 2nd and 3rd in the following week. Only way it could have been better was if we won but hey I really can't complain one bit. I am so pleased."

Post by bsoyuz on Tue Sep 16, 2014 2:10 pm

Schedule to be shorter in 2015.Super Tour and Racing Series to be renamed following 2014.

The APRS CEO,  Madeleine Fay announced today that big changes will ensue to APRS in 2015.

The first of all is going to be rebranding of the two main APRS series, the Racing Series and the Super Tour.

The APRS Racing Series presented by TryHard will become the APRS Launch Energy Series (ALES), while the APRS Super Tour powered by Cathe will become the APRS Imago Sportsman Tour (AIST).

The Imago Sportsman Tour will also start to have all its races being televised, and will feature a late model body, in order to cut costs and allow more teams to participate.

The Launch Energy Series will keep its current body, but the rules for it will be a bit more relaxed, allowing more teams and manufacturers to compete, having a cost-friendly season.

Another of the big changes will be that the schedule for both series will be smaller, with the ALES having 20 weekends, while the AIST will have a 12 weekend schedule. This comes after the series unveiled that for 2015, a double-race format will ensue in the ALES.

Yan Motorsports to return with at least 4 cars. Emma Yan, ride in doubt due to primarily lackluster performances despite good runs and temper issues. Sponsorship coming?

Emma's only hope to continue with Yan Motorsports is to win.

Race 1 Aftermath
Pellerin : Tell the 22 to fire their driver, about killed me and the field!!! Also got turned in a corner and hell ensued... ugh.. Hard Hit, but i'm fine!

*Rebecca after the race visited the crew of the 22, and exchanged words*

Vallee : Jesum! This track is deadly! Got a 7e place, Great!

Race 2 Aftermath
Autosport France asking for fine or probation, probation for the 04, citing, dangerous driving
The Autosport France was the first team to ask for a fine/suspension/probation for lack of a vision, dangerous driving. Yuno Kazami was a lethal weapon. That driver blocked 2! lanes of traffic, and wrecked the 5 car for no reason. After the race, there was many teams shared the same opinion on the matter.

Pellerin : That run on the last lap was incredible! White was in the way, so I had no shot to win... Finally we got a great finish!!!

Spoiler:
Emma Yan, who was in danger of losing her ride, wins the reverse grid race saving her spot on the team and proving she belongs. Sean Cao brings home Yan Motorsports' only other top 5 of the weekend in the second race after poor runs from Jerry, Jessica, and Daniel Yan.

Emma Yan climbed from her car was highly emotional, due to the fact her family-owned team had told her after Quincy, you better win or your not coming back next year. Well, she likely silenced a lot of her critics, many of which were her own team with her victory in the second race of the weekend. She couldn't help but smile, which is something she has rarely done this season and hug her entire team. She spoke briefly:

"That was an amazing race to the finish and this one is emotional to not being sure what future you have to silencing your harshest critics, words can't describe this. When Sean and I got into that situation for the lead, I will be honest, I was panicking, didn't think it was going to end as well as it did. I'm hoping we can win another before the season is over, but hey this one feels pretty good right now."

Sean Cao commented:

"That racing was so intense and even though we didn't win, at least we got beat by our teammate, and not just any teammate, the one who needed it the most. Very happy with 5th after all is said and done, those lapped cars, as annoying as some of them are made that finish so intense."

TurboSports will keep 2 drivers, Rookie stepping in.

Shortly after the Peoria 200, during the post race press conference, TurboSports owner Alex Constantine announced everything about the 2015 TurboSports. "The team has renewed the contracts of both Jurnal and Alnako. Since Sanders will go to Microtransaction Motorsports, Timmy Welsch will be in our third car" he said. He also said "We will stay with the Celerox, we are opening a way for other sponsors to sponsor Jurnal for 2015, Alnako will continue to be sponsored by Nintendo, and Welsch will be sponsored by The Patty Wagon, his sponsor that he brings to each ride. Jurnal has the #4 and Alnako has the #196 like this year and Welsch will be numbered #64 like his aborted 2014 ASCC attempt." Constantine then proceeded to not answer any questions and happily skip out of the room.

OOC:
PM me if you want a sponsor on Jurnal. If no one PM's me with a logo that I like by the end of the TryHard 500, Jurnal will be unsponsored.

All other details of Microtransaction Motorsports confirmed.

According to an announcement on the Microtransaction Studios website, Austin Sanders will be the #007 as usual and has the EFR Journey. The car owner will be Ryan Walker, Unfortunetly, Walker will not be racing.

Spoiler:
A few things
- These two races were quick, and when I say quick, they were under 30 minutes long
- The opening is worng, but I'm not fixing it, the race was an explosion of boredom, so I'm not motivated enough to render it all over again.

Jerry Yan and Emma Yan heroes of Yan Motorsports in Race 1, finishing 4th and 8th but then
Spoiler:
Emma Yan, amazingly wins the second race, being the only car in the top 10 from Yan Motorsports!

Jerry Yan who had a good run in the first race, gets outshined because
Spoiler:
Emma Yan, wins her second career race in the second race of the season. She once again got out of her car and celebrated with her team and hugged everyone in site. She commented too.

"Two wins the span of a few weeks. I'm guessing for all the people who said I don't belong this should silence the rest of them. So proud of this team, we keep having great cars and even greater runs and I'm so happy! Woo!"

Jerry Yan commented:
Spoiler:
"Really proud of Emma, she's come a long way. We had a good first race, not sure what happened in the second race, but hey can't really argue with the results can I?"
.

Jessica Yan, Daniel Yan, and Sean Cao had poor runs this weekend.

Silly Season news for Yan Motorsports

Emma Yan will be returning.

Renumbered cars

#01 - Jerry Yan
#11 - Jessica Yan
#71 - Daniel Yan
#81 - Emma Yan
#91 - Sean Cao

Sponsors

TBA if any.

(OOC: Memoriesallbutdone, If you agree with it.......)

Sponsors possibly incoming to Yán Motorsports

(OOC: It's kinda strange to have a frontrunner (10 wins) without sponsorship, and also, those blanks schemes are annoying me, even though I painted them)

For the last few races of 2014 and the entire 2015 season, Yán Motorsports will have sponsorship incoming from several chinese brands:

2014

#60 - Jerry Yán - Baidu
#61 - Jessica Yán - Air China
#63 - Daniel Yán - Lenovo
#64 - Emma Yán - 999 Sanjiu
#65 - Sean Cáo - Yili

2015

#01 - Jerry Yán - Baidu
#11 - Jessica Yán - Air China
#71 - Daniel Yán - Lenovo
#81 - Emma Yán - 999 Sanjiu
#91 - Sean Cáo - Yili

Perfectly fine with me. And wow, I didn't realize the team has 10 wins in all. Kind of hard to tell when consistency is so weak Laughing

Thanks for getting these sponsors. Smile
