Karlie Ellison injured in crash in turn 4

After suffering from a huge crash in turn 4, Karlie Ellison has suffered a broken wrist after she hit the pit wall after contact with another truck. Ellison had been making ground with teammate Mac Hanley before Hanley brought out the first caution with a blown engine. Ellison is expected to start next week at Eldora Speedway, but NRC driver Riley McKee will be on stand by for Ellison in case she needs to get out of the car mid-race.

Oregonian Motorsports season, which started on a peak has fallen down a bit

Poor runs the last several races as a whole has left this team really on the outside looking in, in the way of the championship hunt.

Since I finished running the second-to-last race (Canadaigua) figured out to start the Silly Season already. Races 13-14 will be posted shortly.

Feeder Series incoming in 2015

Shortly after the announcement of the buyout of the NDTC by the NDT, the National Dirt Track Racing Association (NDTRA) was formed.
The association will sanction two series in 2015: The National Dirt Trucks and the National Dirt Stocks.
Both series will feature a shorter calendar than their actual ones, and both series will only feature two companion events.

New body package in the works for both series

In an open test at the Fonda Speedway, a few hours before the NDT's Final Race two NDT drivers and two NDS drivers were spotted taking laps in the possible new NDT and NDS cars that will be used in 2015.

Only Saar and Lenard will be present in the NDS grid for the upcoming season, and only Saar and Lycoia will be present in the NDT grid for 2015.

To get things sorted out for silly season:

National Dirt Stocks

- Mod: Aero88, the only chassis allowed will be Saar and Lenard

- The 2014 NDTC Season is considered canon, and I would prefer that teams from the NDTC move to the National Dirt Stocks.

- Each team will be allowed to have four cars

- All cars will be full-time

- Field will be capped at 30 cars

National Dirt Trucks

- Mod: PWFCTS, the only chassis allowed will be Saar and Lycoia

- Each team will be allowed to have three cars, teams that don't have enough space to all of their drivers could create sattelite teams

- All cars will be full-time

- Field will be capped at 30 cars

A battle for the title is on between the teammates, but they need to overcome the leaders to even win. The other drivers of the team had good and bad runs, depending on the race.

Blue Jay Incredibly Satisfied With Season

With Jay Rivers as the points leader and Xavier Lavoie not too far behind in points, Blue Jay Racing has been very outspoken about their success in their first season as a team. With only a few races to go both drivers are eyeing a potential Championship in the weeks to come. It'll be interesting to see how they do under Championship pressure.

Since I'm got more focused with the APRS, and probably as the NDT won't be my first priority, I've decided to just post the results for these last two races. What also doesn't help is that I accidentally deleted the replays for Canandaigua and Fonda

OK, Silly Season starts now.

National Dirt Trucks absorb the National Dirt Track Championship, new series in 2015

Soon after the finish of the 2014 NDT Championships at Fonda, it was announced that the National Dirt Trucks would buy out the faultering National Dirt Track Championship, which had its last season in 2014, with the champion being Bradley Carlisle.

With this move, its formed the National Dirt Track Racing Association, that will sanction the National Dirt Trucks and the National Dirt Stocks, former NDTC.

Several teams that participated in the NDTC already declared its support to the new sanctioning body. The teams include Ken Hurnow Racing, Sokolov Racing Sport, Geoffrey Moss Racing, American Soul Racing, Christian Marks Racing, Fortin Motorsports and Samuel Jacobs Racing.

It's not known if other teams that participated in the 2014 NDTC Season, which include Desert Star Motorsports, Duncan Racing, Johnston Autosport, Too Close To Name Motorsports and Redgate Racing will join the series in 2015.

Red Lightning Racing To NDTRA?

Pericles Had a Mostly Back Marker Season, but he came up with a 2nd place finish at Fonda, which gave him leverage Into NDTRA. Pericles: "I Hope that this new sactioned body will benifit all the teams. Maybe Red Light R Could get a Roster Spot. There would have to be 10 teams with 3 cars each, Thinking of Hiring Alan Cavagnaro to add to this team would be great! It's Up to our New Team Owner, Mike Mart. Mart Turned 30 celebrationg his birthday on the final race of the season. We hope that this new Team can show some muscle, with Sowman Me and Cavy, we bring the New Flame."

Sowman With A not so healthy Season, being in the Back was his quality trait. Exception of a 13th Place Finish.
Sowman: I Mostly agree with Pericles, But one thing i wan't to say is that, i may switch my number to 17. Don't ask why, it is just because I Won my first ever Race with that number. Thus That is my favorite Number.

Mart: With me In the captians spot, we will definatley get some wins in NDTRA, If anything we are the young guns team; bring the New Flame!

Red Light R Ready to Roll.

Roster:

Nick Pericles #13 National Guard
Nick Sowman #17 Target
Haziyoshi Kaziyoshi #62 Redds Apple Ale

Rosie Reese, gets another win for Oregonian Motorsports but falls short of the championship, finishing in a respectable 3rd place. Traci Norman finishing 5th and Evan Goodman 10th, are the other two highlights of Oregonian Motorsports. Marta Roy and Todd Rowe finish 16th and 17th after tough beginning seasons.

"Happy to have gotten two wins for this team. Thrilled to have gotten 3rd in the championship. Looking forward to 2015." - Rosie Reese

"We won the season opener and had some strong finishes. We got 5th. Nothing to complain about here." - Traci Norman

"I'm not sure how we got 10th place in the points but you know what, after the up and down season we had, I'll take it." - Evan Goodman

Marta Roy and Todd Rowe had no comments.

Oregonian Motorsports splitting up?

It has been rumored that Todd Rowe and Evan Goodman are looking for rides elsewhere, but its too early to confirm.

Too Close To Name Motorsports returning?

Rumors are swirling though that they may only return with either Jack Jackson or Carl Carlton.

Dirt Trucks gaining entries

G.C. and Dr. Kathy Adams are moving up to the National Dirt series in 2015. The husband and wife team will drive the #4 and #5 Lycoias, respectively. They are the first Lycoia entrants for the 2015 season. "We became hooked after the Dirt Trucks came to town last year," the Ocala natives posted on their Twitter feed.

Oregonian Motorsports, downsizing to 3 trucks, switching to all female team, since Todd Rowe and Evan Goodman search for different endeavors. Oregonian Motorsports to keep numbers and sponsors for drivers. Going to be Saars.

After almost a month of planning, this is what Oregonian Motorsports has come to do. The team is reported to be very happy with this decision.

Too Close to Name Motorsports returning with all three of it's drivers, joining the trucks and Lycoia manufacturer

Pete Peterson, Jack Jackson, and Carl Carlton all will join Too Close to Name Motorsports, moving to the National Dirt Trucks. They are looking to return with a similar paint scheme as they had before, with the same numbers of 15, 16 and 17.

2015 plans: I am probably going to shut NDT down for a while, not permanently.

What is going to happen: I am running APRS in the first half of the year, and when I'm done and dusted with the 2015 APRS seasons, I'll do the 2015 National Dirt Trucks and National Dirt Stocks seasons, in order to take it more easily and don't get to do a crappy work, I want to do this, and I want to do it right.

So, NDT IS BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK

Anyway, let me give more details on this thing.

First off, the name of the series will change from National Dirt Tracks to Midwest Dirt Trucks, what means this will be a regional series, centered in the midwest of US, the furthest that they're going from the midwest is Buffalo Downs, and that's about it.

Secondly, I don't want to see more than 14 full-time cars, this is a low cost series, so most of the teams are not running the full schedule, and the maximum amount of cars per team will be 4, and even with that, only one car would run full-time, and in most cases, only powerhouses will be able to run multiple cars full-time.

I'll give more deatils soon.......

Ok, you guys had more than enough time to send your stuff. You can still send it, but not for 70/77 anymore.

Total Laps: 150
Cautions: 23 for 89 laps

Too Close to Name Motorsports, get 3rd, 6th and last. Oregonian Motorsports get 7th, 8th and next to last.

Only one out of my six trucks finished on the lead lap. I don't even want to know what happened lol.

Gonna get this series back on track, but there'll be no videos, since the races will be fairly boring and I'm really lazy into making videos for this.

Anyway, Cedarburg Results

Rosie Reese, takes the win along with most positions gained and most laps led! Jack Jackson, gets 2nd after a solid third place finish and currently has the points lead. Marta Roy gets a solid 5th. As Carl Carlton finishes mid pack...in 8th. Traci Norman and Pete Peterson are irrelevant once again.

It made me giggle 8th place is mid pack. Razz

Midwest Dirt Trucks bought by Professional Auto Racing Tour. Folding after 2015.

It was announced yesterday that the Midwest Dirt Trucks will fold following 2015, after being bought out by the APRS/PART. The remaining assets of the series will be added to the brand new PART SuperTrucks Series.

(OOC: Anyone from MDT that may wish to enter a team in the PART SuperTrucks, just post on that thread. Results from Winston and Port Huron and standings coming to the final race follow below.)
