Re: Cup & ARCA @ Pocono, Trucks & IndyCar @ Texas, F1 @ Canada
Vettel says that they have struggled historically at Canada....
2013: 1st, 4th
2012: 4th, 7th
2011: 2nd, 3rd
2010: 4th, 5th
2008: Coulthard 4th, Vettel 8th, Webber 10th...
How is consistently finishing in the points struggling? Basically, he's coming up with an excuse already for why hes going to finish behind Ricciardo, AGAIN, this weekend.

ARCA qualifying has ended, and unofficially Kyle Larson has won the pole. Brennan Poole qualified second in John Wes Townley's car. Townley is in Texas running the Truck race today, but will fly in for the ARCA race tomorrow. Justin Allison qualified third, and was the last car to be within half a second of Larson's time.

Rosberg knocks Hamilton off the pole at Canada.
Followed by Vettel, Bottas, Massa, Ricciardo, Alonso, Vergne, Button, Raikkonen.
Maldonado's car died at the end of Q1(17th), and Gutierriez was unable to qualify following an accident in FP3. Ericsson also brought out a red flag at the end of Q1 with 16 seconds left.

Also for those who aren't aware, Denny Hamlin is on the pole for the Cup Race. And for those interested in the BTCC, Colin Turkington is on pole position for Race 1 tomorrow from Oulton Park.

Larson takes the win in ARCA after a good finish when the 4 passed Mason Mitchell, with 3 to go.

And also, Montreal has signed a new contract which will see the track continue to host the Canadian GP for the next 10 years.

Seems reasonable to me, something like that could easily cause a fuel fire or such.

By silly I meant something which is small and could have very easily been avoided. Especially when this is the second time a team has been penalised for this in the WTCC this year.

I find it funny that tire fall-off is one of the biggest factors in the Firestone 600.

Pretty good finish to what was a terrible race. Proof positive that Texas Motor Speedway sucks, even with IndyCar's magic. Good win for Carpenter, though.
The Firestone 600 @ Texas gets a 3.0/10.

If IndyCar can't figure out a good package for Texas, I won't be surprised to see it gone from the schedule soon. Surely they can work out something similar to the racing seen at Indy, right?

It used to be Texas was sensational, and Indy was kinda dull. Now the DW12 comes along, and it's the complete opposite.

I hope Indycar takes a new date to COTA, because then Eddie Gossage will throw his bottle out of his crib and take TMS off the schedule.Sparkz47 wrote:If IndyCar can't figure out a good package for Texas, I won't be surprised to see it gone from the schedule soon. DANNY BOY!!!!!!!! Congrats to him for his first win. And for beating that prick. And Rosberg too.
Massa proves why he got dumped by Ferrari. Brake is on the left.
First time the German anthem hasn't been played since Spain of last year.(21 races)

Glad Massa and Perez are okay, and Vettel was one lucky son-of-a-bitch to miss that one. This race in my opinion is just as good as Bahrain. Everything about that Race was SO EPIC!!!!!!!!!
I mean, who wouldn't give this Race 10/10.

Awesome F1 race! That was wild to the very end there.
Great win and great move for the win by Daniel Riccardio! Mr Happy it be here is happy to win.
What a drive by Rosberg despite the car coming apart on him managed to hold Riccardio off till just 2 to go.
Hard wreck there for Perez and Massa at the end there and it sucks for both as they were having amazing runs.
Fun race overall.

Mercedes is a German team so the anthem was played. Same with Hamilton's win at Hungary last year.navycook75 wrote:Hamilton won Spain this year, and he's British.FlashRod4 wrote:DANNY BOY!!!!!!!! Congrats to him for his first win. And for beating that prick. And Rosberg too.

Massa inadvertently helped Ferrari because Perez's finish would've pushed Force India into 3rd. I hate to be hard on him, but you can't hit somebody driving... IN A STRAIGHT LINE.
Also good win to Junior.
