The First Race at Miami review

Zack Townsend started on the pole with Alessandro Zampedri starting P2. The race started with a messy start and was quite chaotic with positions changing throughout the first lap, including Zampedri passing Townsend on the start. The safety car was deployed on lap 2 when Zack Townsend was defending 2nd from Alex "The Mayor" Whitt. Both would fall out. Both Casey Lester and Ryan Bugaj would experience mechanical issues early on in the race, however both would continue. Nachtigal and Atkins also had an incident, both would continue without a safety car. As the race continued, Eric Harris and Gabe Macena had an accident. Harris would crash later on bringing out the safety car. On the restart, Kenny Myatt had fuel pressure problems and had issues. The race would eventually be won by American Erin Williams, with Russian Michael Rutana 2nd, and Italian Alessandro Zampedri in 3rd! Ryan Bugaj would fight through apparent engine problems to finish 4th and Drew Eisenman running a quiet 5th. The drivers will be taking on Surfer's Paradise next week!
