Marcos Leonard alternates

Post by SnakePlissken on Sat Sep 24, 2011 11:45 pm

Tried to make ML's car look more in the line with the other cars in the PSI stable.
Utilizing a base I made using scans of the packaging:

Lining up those little curly cues on the front fenders took many hours of trial and error!
Using a base that Woody created:

Had hoped one of these would run as a Daytona fan scheme, but I thought I'd show them to you guys and get some feedback if possible. The renders got washed out quite a bit so I included the flats. It just seems like these are missing something but I don't know what?!

I do believe something is missing, though I cant put my finger on it. All Be It, its a great car. One thing that i think will improve it is a brighter shade of red on the numbers.

This is very nice, but there's one thing about it that's bugging me a bit. I'm no painter, but I think you might want to make the Canada Dry logo on the quarter panel a little smaller and move it over. It feels like it's encroaching on the #999. It might just be me, though; it sounds a bit trivial as I type it.

The beveled numbers are not necessary. Other than that, IDK why you're not happy with it.

It does look a bit crowded at the back, but that's not a big problem. I'd suggest removing "Real Ginger, Real Taste" from the rear, but then again, I'm no expert.

I think what makes it crowded are the triple-digit numbers, but nothing's wrong with it.
