2014 Aaron's 312 @ Talladega - Nationwide Series

Post by bigdc48 on Thu May 01, 2014 7:25 am

This is Talladega, folks. Last year, Regan Smith won in what was a very entertaining race that was slowed down at first because of a rain delay.

Last week at Richmond, Kevin Harvich dominated, as JR Motorsports is now the team to beat in Nationwide competition.

Who will win Saturday?

BTW, Kasey Kahne is the only Cup driver in this race.

Interesting to see one one Cuppie in the field. Hopefully we see someone new win on Saturday.

The fact that Wise has been going for Sprint Cup points is laughable. His best finish in Sprint happened last year at this track, and it was 19th. His best finish this year is 21st at Darlington.

Shame for Buescher and Darrell Wallace. Especially Wallace given this was a one off deal (although I wouldn't be surprised to see him return for Iowa).

Another hack put in a Penske Nationwide car to cause Mayhem. Oh Well. Lets hope Bubba can still win Truck Championship.

Probably very embarrassing for Richard Childress, all 3 of his cars wrecked.

That "hack" is probably going to be a contender as well.

I thought for sure I saw Elliott Sadler turn in to Ryan. But that was still a really stupid move for Blaney to do.

Good job for Sadler. It also makes me feel better that he was the one to make the move on Blaney.

I honestly don't care that Sadler won, just because I don't really care enough for him, although I wanted Chris Buescher to win so bad but good 2nd place for him.

This.

Also, good win, Sadler. I went out and had to miss the finish, but I heard there were a few hard wrecks and David Starr got up to 4th at one point. This race went better than I expected it to.
