Would have been a GWC if the caution was thrown the moment Allgaier spun. Oh well, race was otherwise fairly entertaining.

This race but all accounts was laughable. A lap car causes the big one, with more people losing control of their cars thanks to the tire maker not being able to make a tire worth a crap, and lastly throw the yellow for a piece of debris that was maybe 10 or 20 feet in front of the finish line.

This is a race I'm can laugh at, just like the Daytona 500 of 2011.

I hate to sound like a jerk, but that was a really late and dumb call to throw that Caution out during the last half of the last lap. As soon as a wreck happens, you throw the yellow flag out straight away, that would've actually been another G-W-C if they threw it at that moment, because the wreck happened soon before the leaders took the white flag.

Should have thrown the Yellow flag, either when Bowman hit the wall (The field being mostly in turn 1.) or not at all. I would not have thrown it when the #51 spun.

Thanks, NASCAR.

Just...thanks.

On another note, Wise finishes 20th. Would have been higher if NASCAR hadn't screwed everyone over...

Allmendinger gets his first top 5 of the season.

Dogecoin didn't wreck and did put up a good effort.

On another note, TIME FOR KANSAS!

Someone on Twitter pointed this out, but ARCA was the most professional race all weekend.

People raging after NASCAR for that last lap is laughable...

51 spun.... likely no caution, and they were across the line... Since he hit the grass with his splitter, it came off and landed IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TRACK! Nascar made a good decision to race them back for half a lap, if that pack would've hit that.... PAIN would of happened....

Great race. Shitty Finish that was out of control... NASCAR did what they can with the situation they were presented. GW Denny, i don't like you but, ain't going to bitch about it like 3/4 of the fans on FB.... On to Kansas  Very Happy

51 left a big piece of metal on the track. When cars hit that at 200mph, it could go into the stands. Caution was legit.

Pretty good race for the most part, other than the finish, which definitely left much to be desired. Not as good as the 500, but it was enjoyable for the most part.

The 2014 Aaron's 499 @ Talladega gets a 6.0/10.

Anyway a pretty average race that i felt dragged on way too long, The moment Allgaier lost it was the moment this race was gonna end pretty shitty...Think they waited too long to throw that as it just pisses people off more when you make it feel like "WE'RE STILL RACING, WE GONNA FINISH THIS NO MATTER WHAT."

Actually pretty optimistic for Kansas despite a pretty bleh Dega weekend overall.

But if NASCAR held onto the yellow flag, and the pack ran over it roaring to the checkers, everybody would be raging that NASCAR were fools for holding the yellow when there was an obvious danger.

I've said it a million times. NASCAR might have brain dead idiots running the show, but the fans for the most part aren't much better.

Alta perfectly got what I was a bit upset over. I thought they were insane for racing back, but I thought they were gonna. It should have been thrown in turn 1, really.

Remember in 2010 when Allmendinger flipped? I recall everyone on the TS at the time understanding why the caution was out, and it would have been the same today.
