I wouldn't suggest the Epson NX400. It has a nasty tendency of telling you your newly inputted ink cartridges are empty after 5 uses.

I have a really nice Brother All-in-One Laser Printer that has never given me issues. Granted, it's pricey but I really feel with printers you get what you pay for (good and bad).

Is there that much difference between the 3 in 1 and 4 and 1 models?

I think the only difference is the 4-in-1's can fax, the 3-in-1's can't. Otherwise they're pretty similar, but if someone else knows more than they're better to answer that.

Mine's a 3-in-1 and it never gave me any issues before.

I have an HP "All in one". The damn thing takes several minutes to figure it self out before printing a 1 page paper. And it goes through ink like no tomorrow. Mad
