Raceworld on NTN
This is an show that I'm planning to do, focusing on several series at the same time. Each series will have its own episode dedicated to it.
If you want a driver or team owner featured in it as a guest, send me a PM. I want to have at least one guest at each two weeks.
Let's start with the NPCC Surplus Parts 100 at South Boston
If you want a driver or team owner featured in it as a guest, send me a PM. I want to have at least one guest at each two weeks.
Let's start with the NPCC Surplus Parts 100 at South Boston
- NPCC @ SOUTH BOSTON:
- (opening theme - I didn't decided it yet.)
Welcome to the Raceworld presented by Buyride. I'm your host Jimmy Harrington. This is the new TV show featured in the National Television Network, the NTN.
A few hours ago we just had the NPCC Surplus Parts 100 at South Boston, and I would like to rant a little about the behavior of this series...... COME ON DERENBERGER!!!!!You already screwed up the ARLA Trucks and now wants to destroy the NPCC, everybody that is here in the studio, may have saw what is happening with the FARC LoBo Truck Tour. They've declined from one of the major series of America for a small series that is seeing only, like, 10 cars fighting for the title. Desert Star Autosport, the actual champions on the FLTT already announced that they would migrate to the NDTC and NRC, and would scale back to a part-time slot on the Trucks. Now this guy, has the idea of throwing Long Beach, Sebring, Detroit, COTA and a few more roadies...........
Late Models aren't made for roadies, they're made for short tracks and sometimes, only sometimes, speedways. I'm just happy that after COTA we'll have an realistic schedule........... I know that he's trying to expand the series, but it isn't this way. FARC, TM Master, NRC, Dash Cup and even hating them, the ASCC.....all of them learned their lesson, specially the NRC and Dash Cup, that learned in the hard way. You have to earn popularity not by schedule, but by drivers, loyal teams and sponsors. Then you see if you can expand the schedule.I just hope that in 2015 you learn your lesson Erik.
(Jimmy gets applauded and booed by the audience)
Now after this rant....the race review. With you Liz.
Hi, I'm Liz Jersen and I'll be doing the race reviews here on the Raceworld.
On South Boston, Valorie Forge racing for the PSI got the pole, a not very popular pole here on the studio as they wished that 'Lexis Farr had the pole position, but anyway......
If you compare to the other races this year, except for the Enduro, it was an incident filled race, as we had crashes and almost an altercation. The first caution as Star Banner and Chuck Johnson got together in turn 4, 10 laps after the first, Rei Takita last control in turn 2 and almost took out the 51 of Isabella Macena, but Takita would be struck by the 49 of Arthur Gordon, Gordon would retire. Caution number 3 would happen in lap 47, as Roy Warren hits the turn 2 wall, almost gets into Chuck Johnson, and spins out in front of the field, luckily it wasn't bigger than that, as he was able to head to apron. Caution 4 would happen as Quackenbush in the 28 would lose control out of turn 2, would hit Joshua Michaels, and his teammate Zach Gott, would struck both Quackenbush and Michaels. The last caution would happens with 10 laps to go as Star Banner would run wide turn four, into the path of Isabella Macena and both would spun out, but more trouble would happen as the 2 of Vinny LeBouef would hit the 60 of Van Gilder, the 60 would go upside down.......
At the end, Erik Draachreider would win his second short track race, in the second short track of the season. After the checkered, Isabella Macena was going to bring her car to the garage, but Star Banner, apparently disappointed after her crash with Macena, spins Isabella out...........
The Championship standings change as Draachreider takes the lead.
Thank you Liz for the review and this is it folks, the Raceworld on NTN is over. We thank you for tuning into the double 7 channel, we'll see you in no time. Goodbye

Episode 2 - ELMC Warneton
- ELMC @ Warneton:
- (opening theme)
Welcome to the Raceworld presented by Buyride. I'm your host Jimmy Harrington. This weekend we had the ELMC innaugural race at Warneton, Belgium.
This series is a particulary good idea, why? Because teams that normally can't race at the Dash Cup, more because of funding isues, have an opportunity to show up and shine, and then they could go for an Dash Cup spot.
Also, they could develop the stars from the future. Something that we don't see appearing too much on Europe, we see great stock car drivers appearing all the time in America, but in Europe, stock car racing suffers from a major stereotype and unpopularity, which is sad. So let's face it: This is one of the greatest ideas ever in racing.
Now on to the review with Liz Jersen
==Liz does the race review==
Liz: Back to you Jimmy.
Okey-Dokey, so something is kinda wrong in the ELMC, McMillan hummiliated everybody. Guys, you're all better than this, I hope that on race 3, McMillan isn't a factor, because if the things continue this way, we'll have a #MCMILLANWINSLOL season.
Thanks for everyone at home for watching the show. Goodbye and until the next raceworld on NTN presented by Buyride.

Re: Raceworld on NTN
Episode 3 - ASCC @ Vegas
- Spoiler:
- (opening theme)
Welcome to the Raceworld presented by Buyride. I'm your host Jimmy Harrington. This weekend we had the ASCC Las Vegas 200 at Las Vegas, Nevada
=opening rant=
Sometimes you forget your brain in your house, since this weekend we had some crashes in the ASCC that looked like the persons just had a giant "brainfart", I won't name nobody *cough* *cough* AJ Murphy *cough* *cough* Taylor Silvermann *cough* *cough*
Luckily we had improved the safety of those cars, since some crashes that we saw, were just gicantic, and that race was just eventful, until the second red flag, nobody was using their heads, we had to have only 15 cars remaining so we could have real racing out there.
Some drivers just need to learn how to drive, so they can have a career.
==Race Review==
After a really spetacular race at Vegas, Bill Calhoun took the win, let's expect good racing as we saw in that finish.
Thanks for everyone at home for watching the show. Goodbye and until the next Raceworld on NTN presented by Buyride.

Re: Raceworld on NTN
FARC @ Langhorne
- Spoiler:
- This weekend we had the FARC at Langhorne, but that was surely a great race, except for some tough breaks that we saw, as AJ Reed, AJ Young, Kevin Monroe, Taylor Brillon, Ashley Tucker, Cade Taylor and a few others, but Libby Bell was the feature winner, and Ryan Matthews takes the championship lead, what is quite awesome for a manufacturer that was blowing up everywhere on the last couple of years.......
But what is cool to see is the Rookie of the Year battle, as several drivers had bad resultss, and even with bad results they'reb being able to keep their pace, for example Morey Holter, how the hell he's in front of two drivers.................IN THE BURRRRRRRR
But well, here's our first guest, former FARC Driver and owber of the Great Lakes Motorsports: Jim More
Jim, happy to have you here, and as an cliché, I'll ask what almost everybody asks, how did you started on racing?
Jim: Thanks for having me. It's a pleasure. I actually started in racing when I was about 7 years old. My father ran his own dirt late model and my family supported him anyway we could. I was the so-called "waterboy" of the team. [laughs]
As you're a former driver from the FARC Elite Series, what you think about the years that you passed there and what's currently happening on it?
J: Well, when I came into the Elite Series, I was intending on just being an owner and that was it. But, the Elite Series officials have been great about giving people the means and opportunity to run their own equipment and not spend a lot of money. Right now, though, I think FARC has the best product in terms of on track excitement this year.
Being an owner/driver is it too complicated?
J: At times, it can be. It's nice to have the freedom to make the decisions and changes as you see fit. The downside, however, is sometimes your focus isn't always on driving when your driving. Then your performance suffers. I made the decision 2 years ago, 2012, to quit driving because I knew that my focus needed to be on one thing and the best thing for me right now is being a team owner.
Which are your big moments on your career?
J: Wow. That's a tough one. But, I'd say I have 4 big moments.
#1. Winning my first major event in TAC (Top Alcohol Challenge);
#2. Winning my first TAC championship;
#3. Winning the 2nd B-main for the 2011 Rockford 200 as an owner;- This one was special to me because GLM (Great Lakes Motorsports, More's race team) as a whole had just suffered the tragedy that was the Flight 24 incident (refer to here for further information). It was also the first start for Ike [Durbin] with GLM so it was a fantastic deal.
and
#4. Winning the 2013 TM Lights Round of Georgia as an owner;- This one I put here not only for myself, but for my driver as well. This marked the first win for GLM in TM Lights and Ike's first Lights win as well. But, what made it special was seeing Ike win at a track that just ate him up the previous year. I was proud for him.
Who do you think that doesn't deserve a ride anywhere on FARC/TM Lights?
J: Honestly, I can't answer this one. Mainly because there is no one that comes to mind, and also because I don't believe that someone doesn't deserve a ride for any reason.
Another cliché question: If you weren't a team owner,what would you do?
J: I would probably do a lot of flying. I've got a couple of old WWII aircraft that I've restored and when I have the time I like to take those out. So, if I wasn't racing, I'd be working and playing with those.
Do you have any bad habits?
J: I've never been a great writer. I've always been a more mechanical, mathematical, engineer minded person. So, when it came to writing papers for an English class or History class in school, it was a challenge for me. Even to this day, I have about 5 people who check and recheck anything I write and send out.
You took part on the ill-fated VSCC.What are your thoughts about what happened there?
J: Well, I got involved in the VSCC when my brother, Michael More Sr., didn't have the funds to continue supporting my nephew, his son, Michael More Jr.. When the series folded, I move that operation into a merger with Ike's team. Now we both have merged with Alex [Whitt] and Frank [Azzaretto] to form one big team. But, the series had potential and I think it just had business happen to it in the end.
Thank you for being here Jim and good luck in the future.
J: Thank you for having me.
Ok, thanks for watching, this is the Raceworld on NTN, again, thanks for watching and we'll see you next time!
