Jeffrey Earnhardt is supposed to be in the 4. I believe David Starr is in the 10.

Ahh . The car isn't terrible, though the colors remind me of Fallout 3 a bit...aside from the peace signs.

I just saw on RaceBuddy someone spinning on the tri-oval.
EDIT: Ah. Engine blew up. I'm glad the wreck wasn't too serious.

Re: DRIVE4COPD 300 - Nationwide Series
The Orange Cone never disappoints:
Chase Elliott reports vibration.
Danica Patrick reports she wants to drive Chase's car.
Re: DRIVE4COPD 300 - Nationwide Series
I honestly didn't think the finish to this race would be that good. Fantastic win for Regan Smith, well deserved.
Re: DRIVE4COPD 300 - Nationwide Series
This must be the year of the photo finish. Duel race #1, the truck race, and todays race. Nice win for Smith though.
Re: DRIVE4COPD 300 - Nationwide Series
Meh race, but Great Finish. Good win Regan, also class act by Dale, saying that he would give Larson/Nemechek a new body because of the wreck, NOW THAT is a team owner & a great sport!
Re: DRIVE4COPD 300 - Nationwide Series
Carbon copy of last night, Awesome finish but a pretty bleh race. I think i'm more positive since i love Regan Smith.
Nascar policing the bumpdrafting was absolutely stupid, Superspeedway's have a risk of danger everytime they go to them...Policing it will just get a violent wreck with more cars. The lower-tier drivers have proven they've been less erratic then the cup drivers and that's why we haven't seen a scary smash just yet.

It's like NASCAR's becoming more of a political sport, that or it always has been I don't know, but there's gonna be a lot more trouble this year than last year.
Re: DRIVE4COPD 300 - Nationwide Series
I thought that policing the bumpdrafting deal was borderline stupid. It's what makes superspeedway racing fun to watch, but NASCAR decides that comparing to stick and ball sports is a way to get fans interest, which is going down the drain as we speak. Meh race overall, and congrats, Regan. I'll give it a 5.0/10.

Re: DRIVE4COPD 300 - Nationwide Series
I'd say I'm in favor of the bump drafting policing. There are going to be a lot of judgement calls and a ton of bad calls, but it's the only effective way to get the drivers to stop slamming the driver in front until they spin. Bumpers that don't line up (pre-2007) didn't stop it, lining up the bumpers didn't stop it, making the cars overheat didn't stop it. Policing it wont stop it either, but as we saw there was overall a lot fewer cars sideways due to poorly executed bump drafting. If this cuts down on the number of "avoidable" crashes, I'm for it.

I believe it is the package they are using this year that limited it. Some of the drivers even said postrace that it was sketchy. The main issue with trying to out law it trying to separate tandom from bump drafting.
In theory, I'm for it if we get better racing. But I don't like it for the fact it's another ball and strike call NASCAR has to make and Lord knows their track record with those calls.
