Salutations, brethren!

Hola, amigos. My name is Shane, but you, good people, may call me Sparkz. I joined EFR yesterday (although I've been surfing the boards for nearly a month) and I'm looking forward to being involved with the community. I did have a bit of a...misunderstanding over in the TM Master Cup Series section recently, but thankfully (and hopefully) that's all been straightened out.

In terms of racing, I mostly follow NASCAR, but I'm also a fan of Formula One, IRL, Rally, and Monster Jam. I've been following racing for as long as I can remember, since my dad was himself an "Earnhardt fan" if you will.

Quick crash course in Sparkz47:

- I like the Beatles
- I'm an avid gamer (though I unfortunately do not own NR2003)
- I play the guitar
- My favorite driver is Bobby Labonte

Well, I started liking him when I was really little, about 4 (I liked the way his car looked) and I used to call him Sparky for some reason (hence my username). When he won the Championship in 2000, I stuck with him, and he is still my man to this day.

I am well aware of that, good man. Every forum has it's crazies. We only need to keep a sharp eye out for them.

Oh, of course. Since I'm a Bobby fan, I'm almost obligated to root for Terry as well. Needless to say, I was ecstatic in 2000 when Terry won the last race of the season and Bobby won the championship.

Couldn't have beat my brother when he was younger. I didn't even know who "Bobbly Bonty" was until I heard it the second time. It's still a running gag in my house to this day.

I named a bird I once had Bobby LaBirdie.....

My cousin used to call him Bobby Bologna, but I'm pretty sure it was just to get on my nerves. XP
