I think Irvine is a bit more than just an ex-Formula 1 driver 
He's too important to actually receive the sentence, more likely nothing more than a fine.

However, it's somewhat likely that that the 6-month jail time could be turned into a suspended sentence, meaning he might not actually go to jail at all.
