The Rock is back. Rockingham will host a Truck race on Sunday, April 15, 2012. Title is the Good Sam Roadside Assistance 200.

Might actually be a good idea for Rockingham, but you'll never know until they race there with the banking.

Mansfield Motorsports Park has progressive banking, and the track was (in my opinion at least) one of the best stops of the season for the Truck Series.

Awesome news! This is absolutely wonderful stuff to hear. Major props for NASCAR for bring The Rock back, even if it is initally just a truck date. The people in Rockingham and many of the sport's longtime fans were pretty much given a "fuck you" when it was taken off the schedule and although it never should have happened in the first place, NASCAR finally has found the sense to listen to the fans and bring back The Rock. For that, I have to give them a round of applause.

I can't wait for the truck race; it's gonna be a doozy. I have a feeling that there are gonna be some tore up trucks at the end of it and that we're gonna see some good hard racing for once Wink
