VSCC: Possible sponsor for the #79 car?

I PMed randomclassic about this on the old site but I doubt he was able to get it. I thought I'd post these just for fun.




The "Wounded Mosquitos" is my fantasy football team. The colors matched so I thought they could sponsor his ride (or not!)

The football team for the Stillwater University was called the Skeeters as well, and if I remember the cheerleader chant I'll post it here. Went along the lines of; "We're called Skeeters because we suck!"

I love the cartoon skeeter splat on the hood though.

I'll have to check out the Stillwater Skeeters and see what they look like. As for the "Wounded Mosquitos" football team, well, they actually started out as the "Wounded Ducks." A friend and I were writing our Fantasy Football "newspaper" that covers our league (the GGFL) called the "Pigskin Picayune"

The name change was instituted immediately if not sooner.

The original logo was a somewhat bastardized version of the Skeeter boat logo but I wasn't happy with it at all. I eventually ran across the "splat" logo and fell in love with it. It's funny because that's what I called it too!
