Brad's being a moron again

Not sure really what else to say after this.

It's his opinion, even if he's in the minority, he has a right to have a say on the object.

From what I read, Brad could have a point... If Brad feels he can race with a concussion, he will decide if he's fit to race, since he's the driver, besides they (Drivers) know their body, and know when to take a break. (Junior @ Talladega).
Look at Hamlin, broke something in his back, but continues to race even though something can happen. (Break Back, Paralysis).

It isn't so much him feeling that way as much as it is this air of snobbery he gives off with his comment. It just irritates me how whenever he says something, he does so in this "I'm better then everyone" tone. And I don't understand how this "Waters down the sport". Even during the Senna days in F1, they had doctors so for him to say that is just insane.

He's not saying that he doesn't want medical personnel in the sport, he's just saying that if he thinks he can race then he should be allowed to race. I can think of several drivers from the 60's and 70's who would agree wholeheartedly.

I see what he is saying but the way he said it seems to be pre-2011 Brad coming back with a vengeance.

That's pretty much what I got out of this. His comments weren't moronic, but the way he said them made him come across as a brat. I've been hopeful that he'll soon learn not to say things that way.

This is something already introduced in Formula One. Have a big incident, then you must first visit circuit doctor to confirm you are healthy enough to drive the remainder of the weekend.

A doctor knows much better about a drivers safety than drivers do themselves. Brad is just being typically arrogant..

Hell, most any athlete up until the past 5-10 years or so

Agreed. An athlete is going to want to perform, even if they shouldn't.

Someone needs to tell Brad that the car who use to drive his car could of been killed if it wasn't for a Doctor.
