Re: ARCA @ Kansas
The race is scheduled to start at 8:30 PM ET tonight. Dylan Kwasniewski, the K&N East Series point leader, is making his ARCA debut in the #55 for Venturini, and will do so from the pole. And by completing a qualifying lap, Frank Kimmel officially clinches the 2013 ARCA Racing Series Championship, the tenth of his career.
Some other notes:
The race is, pending any last minute pullouts, going to be 32 cars.
Along with Kwasniewski, there will be another driver making his debut. Justin Allison, grandson of Donnie Allison, will drive the #88 car for BCR Racing. He will start 11th.
James Hylton will start 24th in his final start.

Regardless of what we think of ARCA, for Frank Kimmel to win 10 championships, in my book, is one helluva accomplishment.

On another note, I'm done watching ARCA if Kimmel's going to keep dominating in the series.-Said nobody ever.
On a serious note, Kimmel can probably retire now as he has 10 championships and broke Katona's win record.
Also, Good career Hylton.

Frank Kimmel 5460
Mason Mingus 5095
Justin Boston 4845
Tom Hessert 4730
Josh Williams 4550
Mason Mitchell 4385
Milka Duno 4130
Will Kimmel 3940
Thomas Praytor 3935
Spencer Gallagher 3515
James Hylton 3355
Roger Carter 3165

Grant Enfinger 1695
Kyle Benjamin 1620
Bobby Gerhart 1380

On another note, I believe another first took place in the race, and that is that three drivers of at least 70 years of age started the race. James Hylton, 79, and Wayne Peterson, 75, along with Tom Berte who turned 70 last week, all started this race.
