2013 5-Hour Energy 200 - Nationwide Series
The 'who cares' Race. Don't know who would really. But seriously, it's so quite close with the Top-5 separated by a mere margin of 60 points with Sam Hornish leading the way on 662 points. Although the Cuppies might still dominate the rest of the races in the season, the Nationwide Regulars will do their best to try to keep up with them and stay in contention for the championship.

Well... there really isn't a whole lot to say about this race. Lolgano dominates and takes his fourth straight Nationwide Dover win, and four cars were left on the lead lap. Larson finishes 2nd... 13 seconds behind Lolgano.
Blargh. What a God awful race. Easily trumps the Cup races at Texas and Kentucky as the worst race of the season so far, IMO.
The Five Hour Energy 200 @ Dover gets a 1.5/10.

Lelgano's car failed post-race inspection because both sides off the front were too low. No penalties have been announced yet.
Re: 2013 5-Hour Energy 200 - Nationwide Series
I'm gonna guess a 25 point penalty and a $100,000 fine.

I am hoping for a win revoke, but probably not.

Win revoke for failing post race inspection will never happen, although I do wish it would happen.oxymoron wrote:I am hoping for a win revoke, but probably not.

Re: 2013 5-Hour Energy 200 - Nationwide Series
They should do it more often than not. Guarantee you drivers and teams will want to follow the rules more if they know a win will be taken away. Sure you can say about the points, but you take a win away, that would be embarrassing for a team to deal with, and would not want to deal with again...Michael29Shell wrote:Win revoke for failing post race inspection will never happen, although I do wish it would happen.oxymoron wrote:I am hoping for a win revoke, but probably not.
But we all know, the first time NASCAR does that, people would then whine about how NASCAR hasn't done that before (when they had in the very first race, then never again), and that it's absolutely unfair, and that it has to be a Hendrick/Roush/Gibbs/pick your team Conspiracy of the Week

Probably explains why he lapped all but the 2nd and 3rd place cars.Spannerhead29 (Nelson) wrote:Lelgano's car failed post-race inspection because both sides off the front were too low. No penalties have been announced yet.

That race was better than what you think it was.

I don't think so, but if you thought it was interesting, more power to you. That race was garbage, IMO, but admittedly, it wasn't as bad as this race was.Spannerhead29 (Nelson) wrote:>Hamlel causing shenanigansPackerMan71 wrote:An interesting finish does not make it a good race.Mother of Invention wrote:WAAT?
