2013 Federated Auto Parts 400 - Sprint Cup Series

Well, time flies by but maybe it's good enough for us, as we have come to the climax of the 2013 Regular Season of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. There are several drivers in the Top-10 still fighting to stay there, while there are a few others such as Jeff Gordon and Brad Keselowski who are outside the Top-10, fighting to get up in there or try and snatch the Wildcard spot away by winning the Race.

The FAP 400.

Track events have not even and there's already an interesting twist for the race, Jimmie Johnson will start dead last. Johnson is in Charlotte with his wife who gave birth last night to a baby girl. Johnson will not get to the track until tomorrow, so Regan Smith will practice and qualify the #48 car.

Landon Cassill in the Top-10 in Practice right now.

Does anyone have a working stream? Both of the ones on vipsportslive are showing American football right now

Awesome, Logano in, Truex in, Jeff out! Good to see top 5's out of McMurray and Menard and Stenhouse get his first top 10.

That caution....   That completely screwed Newman out of a Chase spot. That and his pit crew. I hope he'll finish the year well with the #39, but this is a bit of a spirit breaker.

Solid race overall though.

I'm happy Truex, Jr. made it in, but he did make it in due to terrible officialdom, so it's kind of an empty feeling to be honest.

Honestly, I'm really happy that Kurt Busch made it into the Chase, with that team and with his effort tonight.

Because Menard made contact with Edwards, the restart rules don't apply?

Kurt was awesome this season, I wonder if he's going to pull a Tony Stewart 2011, but one can dream.

That was a great race. Congrats to Truex Jr. and Kurt Busch especially to be in. Newman though was basically screwed out due to horibble officiating and mostly his pit crew.

Even if the 99 gets penalised, i think it doesn't do anything to the standings...

PLUS! Truex has to race also he almost lost it by nearly getting passed by the 24

I am just so pissed. Logano was OUT, not just out of the Top 10, but OUT period. Now, I gotta listen to ESPN slurping him some more for the next 10 weeks. Ugh.
