Track events have not even and there's already an interesting twist for the race, Jimmie Johnson will start dead last. Johnson is in Charlotte with his wife who gave birth last night to a baby girl. Johnson will not get to the track until tomorrow, so Regan Smith will practice and qualify the #48 car.

Oh. That's weird since vipsports live had it starting 90 minutes ago. Oh well, never mind then.

According to Bob Pockrass: Every spot buys another set of diapers? RT @jeff_gluck: Jimmie Johnson back on the track for some reason (why?). He's 24 laps down.

That caution....Mad Mad  That completely screwed Newman out of a Chase spot. That and his pit crew. I hope he'll finish the year well with the #39, but this is a bit of a spirit breaker.

Solid race overall though.

MRW Dale Jr. basically screws Jeff Gordon out of a chase spot.

I'm happy Truex, Jr. made it in, but he did make it in due to terrible officialdom, so it's kind of an empty feeling to be honest.

Honestly, I'm really happy that Kurt Busch made it into the Chase, with that team and with his effort tonight.

If Bowyer DID spin himself on purpose, it's another valid case against GWCs.

That was a great race. Congrats to Truex Jr. and Kurt Busch especially to be in. Newman though was basically screwed out due to horibble officiating and mostly his pit crew.

Even if the 99 gets penalised, i think it doesn't do anything to the standings...

Dale Jr.'s trying so hard not to say "Clint spun it deliberately".

Junior never touched him...
After seeing the video, I retract that statement. Nice job, Bowyer.
Same here. This is only adding more fuel to the fire for my hatred.

On another not, I'm glad to see that Ku. Bu. made it in the chase. It looks like I'll be him on.

At least it's more noticeable, than the #27 last year helping the 29

Besides, if so, WHAT are the chances it falls exactly in place, The pit crew needs to their part & That restart got CRAZY!

PLUS! Truex has to race also he almost lost it by nearly getting passed by the 24

I am just so pissed. Logano was OUT, not just out of the Top 10, but OUT period. Now, I gotta listen to ESPN slurping him some more for the next 10 weeks. Ugh.

There's team orders in every series.

Am I the only one around here who really doesn't care about this whole thing?

also, am I the only one who doesn't care about team orders in general?

Cause you would be wrong.

They're not as bad in NASCAR as they are in other series in North America.
