First car ever in my first time using paint.NET

Post by TheFallenHaveRisen on Tue Sep 03, 2013 12:44 am

Behold my #0 NIKE Audi Quattro, I made it in my first hour ever using Paint.NET, got the base here & the logos and background off of Google.  It's for the original game, and if somebody could render it for me, that would be great.

If anyone would like me to put it up for download, I will.

For your first car, this doesn't look all that bad. The base specifically has me impressed. It certainly could use more logos and contingencies, but I won't put you under for that.

The color combination and the pattern certainly work together very well. As kensethfan said, it just needs more logos and contingencies, but for a first car, this is pretty good!

Thanks, the base is just a carbon fiber pattern that I found online put over the base layer. The contingencies I had on for a while, but then decided I wanted the car to be like the FRR car in Sprint Cup.

Thanks, I've always liked the combination of Carbon fiber and Volt (Nike name for Neon Yellow).

Nice use of the Oregon Ducks logo for the numbers, I like it.

Thanks, I figured it looked close enough to a 0 to be used as one.

The color combination lures me in, as bright green and silver/black is probably my favorite combo. The door numbers could probably afford to be a tad bit taller. Also, I think the Just Do It logo should be on top of the black middle portion of the headlights. This is really nice for a first car though!

Thanks, I was a little worried about the numbers being to big, so I shrunk them, but I guess I shrunk them too much. The top black portion where it says "Quattro", so I can't put it their. Thanks for the constructive criticism.

I'd suggest a fairly thick black stroke around the #s/logos/text.
