Inaugural Chevy Silverado 250 - NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
It's rare for the Trucks to race on a Sunday, much less be an opening act for a nighttime Cup race. But, that's what we've got on this Labo(u)r Day weekend, as the Trucks venture outside the U.S. for the very first time, and to a road course for the first time in 13 years.
The great thing about having a road course this late in the season is it can shake up the points. And the Trucks could use a close race, as consistency has put Matt Crafton further and further ahead. The problem is, there's only 31 trucks entered for this race (surprising, because you'd think a lot of teams would sign up as a one-off for this), so, a sizable chunk could be taken out of Crafton's lead, but not one that would have him sweating. Not in my mind, anyway.
Oh, yeah: NO CUPPIES!

Not many road course ringers: no Boris, no JV, and neither Dumaloin brother. That said I still have Mad Max to pull for.

Is it just me or do the track walls not seem as safe as they could be?

................................................
Probably the craziest finish and aftermath of the year. Wow.
The Chevy Silverado 250 @ Mosport gets an 8.5/10.

That was one hell of a finish.
Elliott had nothing to do, and Dillon came down.
it was pretty much a racing deal.
Also, Papis got the Italian slapped out of him.

Wouldn't be surprised if she gets "slapped" with an assault charge for that. Besides, Skeen should've been confronting Papis, not his girlfriend.Ben Atkins wrote:Wow, unbelievable. Cannot believe Skeen's wife/girlfriend/whoever Slappised the Papis.

Re: Inaugural Chevy Silverado 250 - NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
Elliott made a last ditch move for the win. Ty was just taking the line into the corner. Hell when the white flag came out I saw that coming.
Skeen tried to do what Elliott only he just wiped out himself and took Mad Max with him. Was funny seeing Max being the one slapped this time.

I saw someone else get thrown to the ground trying to confront Papis in his truck after the race.PackerMan71 wrote:Wouldn't be surprised if she gets "slapped" with an assault charge for that. Good race. INSANE finish.
Wreck was a racing deal....both were going for the same spot and it ended in disaster. What can you do...last lap. Meanwhile behind them Skeen was trying to wreck Papis and did it in the final turn.
Everything afterward was just pure emotion and chaos. Surprised we didn't get a full scale riot.

Perhaps perhaps the wackiest last lap of the year in my opinion. In the words of Ben Edwards,"OH IT'S CHAOS! ABSOLUTE CHAOS!"

What do you do? You don't hit a lady. I was in disbelief. Complete disbelief. If she would've closed her hand it would have been a bad punch, because she hit me so freaking hard. I went to (Mike Skeen) and said, 'I guess we know who's the man in the family here, because the guy didn't even have the (guts) to talk.

As for the finish. That's just last lap racing. Rather my driver grow a pair and try something, than lay back and let the other guy win. Besides, didn't some people get on Brad Keselowski's case for "not getting into Kyle Busch hard enough" at Watkins Glen a few weeks back?!?
