Any experiences with LED and brands that could be helpful?

Two of my relatives have Plasma TVs, if you do get it, you really can only watch HD TV on it, regular tv looks like a really old YouTube Video fullscreen on a regular TV. They both have Visio, so I can't compare brands.

I bought a LCD 40-inch Samsung(1080i, 60Hz) about three months ago for my room for about $700. The rest of my family is jealous about how good it looks.

Go with a Vizio, We have 4 of them in our house. We had a LED and got rid of it after 2 weeks because the picture rate was messed up, or somthing like that. We have all LCD's.
