Pure Michigan 400 at MIS
After last week at The Glen, the Chase took a big shake up. And with only four races left, anyone could take one of those 12 coveted spots in NASCAR's playoffs.
This weeks entry list has most of the usual suspects.
Austin Dillon will sub for Tony Stewart in the #14.
Mike Bliss is back in the #19.
Timmy Hill is in the #32 again.
Brendan Gaughan will drive the #51 for Phoenix.
Scott Speed and the #95 team return.
Since Michael McDowell will be running Mid-Ohio, Johnny Sauter will drive the #98 in Cup.

Re: Pure Michigan 400 at MIS
The lone reason i remember the last two Michigan races is i would wake up late for both of them, turn the race on, would go to the bathroom as they went to commercial and when i and the TV returned the leader of said race wrecked.

And Logano gets the Pole, and in addition the Top-3 in Qualifying beat the previous track record.
Re: Pure Michigan 400 at MIS
Jimmie Johnson will start last in the race after crashing out in Final Practice.

Re: Pure Michigan 400 at MIS
I don't like the track, it's boring to watch the cars run single file the whole time. Although, with Jimmie starting last, this might be interesting.vbooy57 wrote:Maybe he just doesn't like the track...Spannerhead29 (Nelson) wrote:BECAUSE GOD FORBID IF DRIVERS AREN'T 5-WIDE BEATING AND BANGING ON LAP 8.Pyrozooka0 wrote:Michigan? If you know JJ's track record at this track, you'd know why this doesn't surprise me.bigdc48 wrote:BWardboy88 wrote:Jimmie Johnson will start last in the race after crashing out in Final Practice.

Austin wrecked cause he was blinded by the ugliness of the #36 car. (That shade of red doesn't sit well with me.)

I have missed most of this race! But from what my dad tells me, this race can be summed up with this song.

Good for Logano. Glad to see him win over Kurt Busch, who was leading when I looked earlier.

Logano wins at Michigan. My surprised face.

As much as I don't like him, I've got to admit, Logano had a fast car.

Martin runs out of gas and finishes 27th, and Logano wins. I am SO glad this wasn't the race that I went to!
