Finally. Great to hear that's Rob's won at last especially after being so quick at Knockhill. I think the Audi could really benefit from some Manufacturer backing to help with the cost's. Missed the races again due to MX5's at Donington but I'll try and catch up with them on the web.

I don't suppose anyone knows of what Connor Mills (Ginetta Junior) is now doing? I was excited for him driving at the start of the season, really talented, won last years Super 1 Mini Max and vice-champ in Kart Stars Mini Max, but noticed he went missing near the start of the season. Real shame if he ran out of money to fund a season, one for the future.

Then I'd like to see Jason Plato pay for the bill when he throws one into the barrier Laughing

Seeing as every company in Italy is now owned by FIAT, only chances of seeing an Italian manufacture in touring cars is Alfa Romeo because historically only they (and also Maserati in the 80s with the terrible Biturbo) have ever competed.

That sucks. I'm nowhere near being a fan of Matt, but seeing a driver get injured is never good.

Wow, Shedden is way down the order. Not like him to be qualifying so poorly. Hoping Plato can pull some big points here, but I know his title chances are pretty much zero to none.

Penalties from the BTCC at Silverstone:

Mat Jackson received a £500 fine and three penalty points for an incident relating to driving standards in race three.

Matt Neal received an official reprimand and two penalty points for an incident relating to driving standards in race three. The decision has been appealed by MG KX Momentum Racing. The appeal will be heard by MSA stewards at Brands Hatch on Saturday 12 October.

Adam Morgan received an official reprimand for an incident relating to driving standards in race three.

Sam Tordoff punted him out of the way at Luffield corner in the early laps of Race 3, and then Neal retaliated by blatantly turning him round out of the corner, and Tordoff could only manage 14th. As much as I like Matt Neal, I think there was some what no excuse for that to happen.

I have heard recently from someone with connections to Mallory Park (which was run by a company part of the BARC until their demise a few days ago), that the BARC have gone, or are going into voluntary liquidation. I will post a link if I can find out that this is a confirmed statement, but I don't know what this means for the BTCC as they are run by the BARC according to their homepage.

Also, the weekend so far has been overshadowed by two severe accidents. First by Aron Smith in FP2, and then Matt Neal in Qualifying.

Plato's recovery was very good! Can't believe he finished 3rd in points and had a good chance at the title come race 3 of the weekend! Stellar comeback!

I watched a few BTCC races this year, and I have a confession. I was rooting for Jason Plato. There. I said it.

I'm excited for BTCC next year. I really wish we had this in America.

Guia Round for WTCC at Macau this weekend. Championship unfortunately sorted, but Macau always bound to bring an exciting race to end the season. Eurosport will be showing the race live, while Motors TV will have support races and the F3 Macau Grand Prix.

34 Car grid for the WTCC races. This cannot end well. Rooting for Brabs in the Scirocco Cup race.

The estate car is back! For the first time since 1994, an Estate Car will Race in the British Touring Car Championship, which is replacing the the Civic Hatchback for the Honda Yuasa Team with their drivers Gordon Shedden and Matt Neal.

The last time an Estate car ran in the Series was back in 1994, when Tom Walkinshaw Racing fielding two Volvo 850 R Estate's driven by Dutchman Jan Lammers and Swede Rickard Rydell.

Always good to see a station wagon (what we call those kind of cars here in the States) in racing.

I'd honestly like to get race times (whenever they're released) for the US on BTCC when they're on. I'd love to watch this series when it's on early enough.
