Haven't posted it yet; we still need to get something up for WRAnarchy. Then I can post Thunder Bay here and people can converse about it and stuff.

WRAnarchy in the UK race rundown:

Lap 1: Green flag is out! Chase Donovan leads the 32 car field to the green!

Lap 1: #23- Matt Leslie gets hit by #06- Damon Reno, and sweeps up #11- Preston Bell, as well as #79- Holly Simmons, #0- Corin Brigham, #28- Ben Atkins, and #24- Hunter Downs among others.

Lap 6: #73- Jason Butler-Graves gets hooked by #06- Damon Reno between turns 1 and 2, and has a wild ride into the outside wall, flipping several times before ultimately coming to rest on his roof. Butler-Graves would be able to get out of his car under his own power.

Lap 40: #42- Dalton Forrister and #70- Gail Hubbard go hard into the tires, and wind up stuck in or on top of them. Forrister and Hubbard were assisted out of their cars, and transported to Betty's Dolls Hospital where they would be evaluated.

Lap 58: #80- Tom Campbell and #17- Wade Richson get into a crash.

Post-Race Reactions:

Jason Butler-Graves unsure what to make of wild Lap 6 accident
After going for a wild flip on Lap 6 of the WRAnarchy in the UK exhibition, Jason Butler-Graves had this to say regarding the wreck: "Yeah, I'm a little sore, my gut hurts, but I'm sure that's more the buffalo wings talking and not an injury. Though, I don't know what Damon [Reno] was up to today. He took out three different people, including trying to ship me back to New York. He was a bit... erratic... that's the best way I can put it without risking being fired on the plane ride back. But we'll pack up this Black Cat Fireworks Dodge, and we'll try again in Canada for Thunder Bay."

Dalton Forrister Injured
Dalton Forrister wrecked out on Lap 40 of the exhibition event in Colby today, and after being transferred to Betty's Dolls Hospital in Norwich, Forrister was diagnosed with a cracked rib and a fractured wrist, which will keep him out for the first 3-5 weeks of the 2014 points paying season.

Spoiler:
Chase Donovan: What the f**k is your problem, Damon?! Do you know what the words "Bring the car home in one piece." means? Clearly not because you tore every f**king car up that you possibly could. Please tell me that you'll clean up your damn act before we get back to the f**king U.S. and quit tearing up all of our sh*t.

Preston Bell: Welp, that didn't go quite as ah would've hoped.

Barry Juveno: Tell Reno ta get da f**k outta this series. He ain't got no place hea.

Patrick Johannson: I hear everybody blasting each other for all the calamity going on; this is an exhibition race, people. It's not even a points race yet. Don't get yourselves worked up over a race that doesn't mean nothin'.

Dalton Forrister: OW. This is a picture-perfect start to this season. Very Happy Very Happy Smile Neutral pale

Reed Church: I don't really care about how I did; I went to the Tower of London! Great Britain rocks!

Spoiler:
The highlight of Kody Gleason's race was his avoidance of the Lap 5 wreck. This is the radio transmission from that wreck.

Spotter: *wreck happens* "The 18 is around down low, back it down, back it down, go high...that's a big wreck, all clear, go high, go high, stay in line...all clear, you're through it, good job, buddy."

Kody Gleason: "Holy crap, big wreck! That's unlike anything I've ever seen in open-wheels...wow!"

Spotter: "Yeah, looked like someone cut down in front of the 18, and then the 1 just nailed him, then the 23 came down in front of that pack and just destroyed it...looked like some guys barely slowed down at all."

Kody Gleason: "About shit myself when I saw the 73 go over, but we're through it."

Later under that same yellow...

Crew Chief: "You all right in there, buddy?"

Kody Gleason: "I'm fine, the car feels fine, we just don't seem to have a lot of power."

Crew Chief: "Yeah, these cars don't have as much speed as what you're used to, I think you'll get used to it in time."

Kody Gleason: "10-4."

Why yes, I did take some inspiration from Travis Pastrana...

Juveno and Sweeney brawl in pit lane, Donovan wins, Johannson and others wreck

Barry Juveno and Jack Sweeney battled hard inside the Top 10 in the closing stages of the Bell Grand Prix of Montreal when the two cars made contact after Juveno swung wide entering Turns 5 and 6, resulting in heavy damage to Sweeney's #53 and the end of the race for Juveno. The gargantuan, Cleveland-born driver angrily climbed from his totaled Jack Daniel's Chevrolet and was taken back to the infield care center, where instead of entering said care center, he began to jog towards the Canadian's pit box and waited outside of it until the race had concluded. Sweeney pulled into his pit stall and Juveno stormed out to meet Sweeney as he tossed his helmet into the windshield of the #53. Sweeney immediately began to climb out, just as angry as Juveno, and the two loudly exchanged words before Juveno shoved Sweeney and promptly received a shove back as the crews began to intervene whilst attacking each other. After at least 5 minutes, everything settled down and the teams separated. Neither driver was availible for comment and they would have likely rained expletives onto anyone in the press anyway.

Chase Donovan, however, was much happier than his noisemaking teammate. After pitstops had cycled out, Donovan found himself in total command of the event, winning by ten seconds over 2nd place Tom Campbell. Donovan proceeded to perform victory burnouts and offered his take on the day.

"Man, this was a crazy race. I saw cars bouncing off the walls left and right, people turning each other, cars running off-course; it was just a mess. The guys put a really good car together and I got it around pretty easily. I'm pretty surprised that I've gotten my first win on a road course since I don't think I do all that well on 'em, but a win's a win."

"This definitely isn't the way we wanted to start or season out." said Donovan's other teammate, 40th place finisher Patrick Johannson. "Good to see Chase break through for the team, but we definitely dropped the ball this week. I'm sure we can pull it together at Boston." Bruce Henson finished in 3rd, a quiet Top 5 for the Edmonton native, and gave some of the Canadian fans somebody to root for throughout the event. Preston Bell came home 11th, while Henson's teammate Dave Endicott, Reed Church and Brad Windsor had mediocre days in the middle of the running order.

DaKota Ellington had a gearbox failure from 20th under the first caution, Riley McKee wrecked Hannah Percy (who merged up into Mouta and was clobbered by Haddeland) and he then caused the next two cautions. However, Dan Foray decided to run into the oozing 97, sending McKee into the path of oncoming traffic such as Ike Durbin and Shaun Percy. Both cars made it into the race, but Foray will likely be sent to the rear following his incident with McKee and Greg Woodard was hit by Trevor Fox on the cooldown lap after slowing down for some reason and will likely go to a backup car with the amount of rear end damage done. The leaders forgot how to pass lapped cars, but Matt Leslie remembered just in time to hold off Casey Lester, who passed Jason Butler-Graves to take 2nd place.

EDIT: Just realized Foray didn't need to be in. Webler is in the race.

Spoiler:
After a number of very near misses by Kody Gleason, he suddenly reported a vibration midway through the race. Here's what his radio communications sounded like at the moment he noticed the vibrations:

Kody Gleason: "I have to pit this lap, guys. Starting to feel a massive vibration as I'm on the front stretch here."

Later that lap, Gleason up-shifts coming out of the hairpin turn, and his car stalls unexpectedly.

KG: *car stalls* "Bollocks...we just stalled, guys, we're stopped down here out of the hairpin. Trying to get it going again but nothing's happening..."

Crew Chief: "What happened?"

KG: "I don't know, I just shifted into second and the car just stalled completely. Obviously a transmission issue, but I can't get it fired up again."

Spotter: "They're gonna need to tow you back to the pits here, hang tight. We'll figure it out when we get there."

KG: "10-4."

The #45 team diagnosed the issue and quickly returned Gleason to the racetrack. Through an interesting turn of events, Gleason went to the lead.

CC: "You are the leader right now, good job, bud."

KG: "How did we get here?"

S: "They're dropping like flies out there, man. Just keep doing what you're doing."

Gleason would later lose the lead on pit road to repair right side damage. He went on to finish tenth, and his teammate Bruce Wilkinson would continue to finish twelfth, to cap off a quiet day for the #27 team.

Kody Gleason's Open-Wheel Experience Gives Him A Top Ten Finish At Montreal

Transcript from Gleason's post-race interview:

Reporter: "I'm here with tenth place finisher, Kody Gleason. Now Kody, this was your second WRA start and your first road course start in this series; you had some ups and downs today, and come off this weekend with a top ten, how do you feel?"

KG: "Man, what a wacky race. We had a good car, we had some transmission problems about mid-way through, and we had to replace some shocks, then we came back out and we eventually took the lead; I don't know how but we did, and we come out with a top ten finish; that just makes me excited to be here and run in these cars, knowing that if we can run like that with the awesome work of this #45 crew today, we might have something to prove."

R: "While you're still relatively new to these kind of race cars, do you feel any different about them now then from last week?"

KG: "We didn't really have too much speed last week, but quite honestly, these cars feel easier to drive then open-wheels. They're slower, of course, but the weight of these cars balances out the instability that you might feel otherwise in open-wheels. In that sense, I guess we were just better equipped to deal with that than most of the guys that ran themselves off into the tires, which I guess we can take advantage of to do better in these road course races."

R: "Thank you. That's Kody Gleason, driver of the #45 Bullhorn Racing Dodge."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I wish there was more to say about Bruce. At least this gives me the opportunity to develop character for Kody. Wink

You had me worried that I forgot another driver, but he finished 31st. Must have gotten terminal damage from that accident with Foray and McKee.

The qualifying race results for the second race say that he didn't advance into the main event. Just saying.

Mia Hawk quite perplexed about being 9th in points but isn't complaining

"I know it's early in the season but you kind of have to find the lighter moments with situations like this. Getting involved in many people's other messes and not having the greatest finishes isn't exactly something to be proud of, but I am apparently consistent enough to be 9th in point, while my finishes are an amazing 16th, 17th, and 17th. I am happy for my section of the team, really wish Burt and Gifu were doing better. So onto the next race. Maybe I can get a top 10 finish." - Mia Hawk

Spoiler:
A Bad Day for BHR; Gleason Retires from Transmission Failure, Wilkinson Finishes 23rd

The Boston race weekend proved to be sour for the Bullhorn Racing team, as both cars were involved in some kind of on-track incident. Kody Gleason was one of the first causalities of the day; as he was checking up for the wounded racecar of Holly Simmons, he was run into from behind from Willie Sorensen.

Spotter: "You got one around on the apron, stay high...the 79's slow in front of you, check up, check up, check up..."

Kody Gleason: *hit from behind* "Oh, you idiot..."

S: "I did the best I could to help you out, boss..."

KG: "No, I don't blame you, someone in a yellow car ran us over from behind. How bad's the damage look?"

S: "Can't see too well from here, I'll catch you on the back straight."

KG: "10-4."

While the damage was minor, it was bad enough to put the #45 considerably off the pace, becoming a nuisance for faster cars later in the run. Fortunately for him, the second yellow came out immediately afterwards, for a wreck that was narrowly avoided by both of the BHR cars...

Spotter: "Wreck in front of you, stay down, stay down..."

Bruce Wilkinson: *wreck happens, Bruce narrowly avoids the #70 and the #91* "...yyyyyyyoooooooo!"

Bruce Wilkinson: "I had to part the Red Sea there, but we didn't hit anything..."

After Wilkinson took the yellow flag, cars are still stacking up ahead of him in Turn 1. Various back markers plow into each other, and Eric Webler, among others, rolls over right in front of Bruce Wilkinson.

BW: "What happened here...?"

S: "They're still killing each other down there, man, just get caught up here..."

Under the yellow, rain begins to set in. Wilkinson fell two laps down under green, and would get them back before the field returned to racing. Gleason's team did their best to bang out any left over damage on his car, but he was still fairly off the pace. On Lap 62, after coming across Preston Bell's nose, Gleason spins himself out.

KG: "That was my fault...tell Preston I'm sorry."

On the restart for the yellow he caused, Gleason experienced a random transmission failure, much like the previous weekend at Mosport. However, unlike last week, the transmission failure was terminal and he was forced to pull off and retire, finishing 29th. Reporters caught up with Gleason later on, and he spoke about his race. "I hate it for my guys, they worked really hard to buff out all the damage we had under the yellows and during the rain delay -- we gave it our all today, but it seems we were a victim of circumstance, and of course I had my moment there with the 11 car...and, you know, to have another transmission failure like we did last week certainly didn't favor us this time, but I guess we'll come back next week and try again."

Meanwhile, the other BHR car of Bruce Wilkinson restarted near the front of the field after a brief red flag situation, as a result of a spin by Jared Pierce, which later escalated into Butler Graves plowing over his teammate, Willie Sorensen, who was already involved in an incident under the first yellow with the other BHR car of Kody Gleason. Wilkinson then ultimately does the same thing his teammate Gleason did after going three wide with Chase Donovan and Candice Fowler, cutting across Donovan's nose and spinning himself out.

BW: "Damn it...sorry guys, the #32 there wasn't giving me a lot of room."

Crew Chief: "You're fine. We'll get that rear end damage fixed under this yellow flag here."

Wilkinson continued to rally on and finished 23rd, six laps down.

It must be a bad omen when one of your cars is spun around backwards on the video thumbnail.  Sad

Downs is not currently locked in, largely due to the high attrition that seems to spawn from these Q-Races.

In the meantime, Tanner will likely go to either Pocono or New Jersey Motorsports Park for Race 4 (the latter being my personal pick, but I'll leave it up to him) as I'll be gone for the weekend. There were a few minor things I needed to fix with the carset, most notably bumping up base ratings for entries without driver ratings to bolster competition, but I will likely need to tweak a few more things until I assemble them into the final carset, which I will eventually post on here for download. Stay tuned for more WRA news, such as press releases, schedule changes, league announcements and more.

Post-Race Reactions: Boston:

Christie Wentworth displeased with debutante Fowler's driving
"Well... it sucks for this Maruchan crew that our car is junked, but I want to know what little miss Candice Fowler was thinking when she spun us out! I don't know if she's old enough to understand teamwork, but it may be best if she drags her butt back to preschool before I teach her a thing or two." - Christie Wentworth , in regards to her teammate Candice Fowler in the #32.

Fowler, the 21 Year-Old from Newton, MA didn't take to kindly to this, stating: "I'm sorry that that happened, but clearly you have a bit of an attitude problem Christie. I wouldn't talk to someone who's in their first race in one of these types of cars that way!" Fowler exclaimed.

Jason Butler-Graves suspended for Lime Rock, Sorensen out with injury

Jason Butler-Graves came under fire by his team owner, Gary McFarland, after getting into a violent wreck with his teammate, Willie Sorensen, and has been sent home for upcoming Race 4 at Lime Rock Park. Sorensen, driver of the #58 Love's Dodge, suffered a broken shoulder following a vicious T-bone impact from Butler-Graves, as reported by medical personnel at Massachusetts General Hospital, and will be out approximately 11 weeks, which due to Sorensen's part time schedule, will cause him to miss one or two attempts. No word if the #58 will show up again before Sorensen is recovered. As for Butler-Graves' replacement: Candice Fowler has been tapped to run the #73 for McFarland at Lime Rock.

As the new title suggests, this league has unfortunately been abandoned. Tanner simply has no time nor patience to run this anymore and I have lost motivation for this as well. I am, however, planning on starting a league of my own in the future. If it will be something much like this, I'm not sure; it may end up being for personal use, but there is no guarantee. I would like to thank the people who sent ratings, cars and actually somewhat paid attention to this, despite our very minimal progress.

Just figured I would post this here if anyone was interested, but I have started up a new league much like this one over on the AARO Forum which is not canon to any other series. I'm getting close to the cap for entries, so if you do want in, take an open spot while you can since they might not be availible for long!
