Wasn't against the rules when they did it, technically. I mean, it was, but it wasn't because MLB doesn't know it's own rule book half the time.

Plus, A-Rod tried to hinder an investigation by the MLB, and tried to recruit players to BioGenesis, and had already failed a random drug test in 2003 (I think this was said in the Mitchell Report).

By not acting on what should have been a lifetime ban for New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez, he has missed an opportunity to make headway towards amending the wrongs his administration has caused in this, the steroid era.
