Any good will that may have been brought toward NASCAR with Waltrip's Sandy Hook car has been nullified with the NRA 500.
Re: NRA 500 - Sprint Cup
Also , sorry if this question is dumb because I haven't ever known it, but what does NRA stand for?
Re: NRA 500 - Sprint Cup
I don't really think the NRA should be vilified, let a lone a race that has their name.Alpineopossum wrote:Any good will that may have been brought toward NASCAR with Waltrip's Sandy Hook car has been nullified with the NRA 500.

It's not that they should be vilified it's that in the wake of Newtown, Chardon, and Aurora the NRA has a negative stigma attached to it, whether they deserve it or not.vbooy57 wrote:I don't really think the NRA should be vilified, let a lone a race that has their name.Alpineopossum wrote:Any good will that may have been brought toward NASCAR with Waltrip's Sandy Hook car has been nullified with the NRA 500.

Re: NRA 500 - Sprint Cup
Ah yes, now its time to make history as we will watch a race for the time with the most insensitive name ever.
Wait this was, not California?
Doubt it'll "defend" its title with this car.

Last season California ended early, so we were all spared of the boredom.

A senator was actually telling Fox not to show a race that they're obligated to! Well, I have always said, "Most politicians are the stupidest people ever born."

Chris Murphy continues to get elected because he continues to be the "least worst" candidate.
At least we have one Senator from Connecticut whose head is outside of his ass.

A Senator who thinks they know everything about something they don't? When has that ever happened?

Maybe, but Blumenthal's head is way to close for comfort to that particular orifice.

Both Penske cars, failed pre-race inspection due to a questionable rear end housing. both the #2 and #22 are making last second changes to the Rear End Housing.

So NASCAR decides to throw out the caution since they thought Stenhouse was blowing up when it was just a tire rub. Goes to show that NASCAR will do anything these days to throw out a caution.
