2013 MLB Season

I might as well start the thread being that it's opening day. As a Yankee fan, this could be a long year for me.

Judging from today's result, I'd say you're right.

Yep, i'm a Blue Jays fan since 04, and the team will hopefully get to the WS

Judging from today's result, and their off season injuries, it's going to be a long, painful season for the Yankees.

Back on topic, the Mets and the Astros are off to a great start. I might as well start calling the Mets the Yankees given how many runs the Mets scored compared to the Yanks.

Anybody see the brawl between the Dodgers and Padres last night. Zack Grienke hit Carlos Quentin and Quentin charged the mound in a benches clearing brawl. Grienke has a broken collarbone.
Kind of reminds me of (forgive me for saying this) the Clint Bowyer Jeff Gordon incident. Quentin says that he has a history with Grienke and that, "There's a reason I reacted the way I did."

I saw that when I was watching SportsCenter today. After seeing the flashback between those two, I honestly don't blame Quentin for being mad at Grienke.
