Re: Royal Purple 300 - Nationwide
Jeffery Earnhardt's nationwide run is over after just four races, but somehow Dexter Stacey is still around.

he'll probably be back later, but Uponor was only onboard for 15-ish races so he'll be back when Uponor is.

Re: Royal Purple 300 - Nationwide
Now, your Start & Park report for the Royal Purple 300 @ California.
To the Garage
10 - Jeff Green (If he weren't a past champion, he'd be useless to any team.)
27 - Michael McDowell (I assume this is SR2's parkmobile to fund Blake Koch running the distance.)
42 - J.J. Yeley (Couldn't Key just grab some career reject who doesn't have Cup to focus on?)
46 - Chase Miller (Forever start and park. Pretty sure if he could, he'd start and park breakfast.)
Questionable
23 - ??? (The car owned by some guy we've never heard of doesn't seem to have a sponsor. Thus, the car owned by some guy we've never heard of might park. Driver unknown too, so it's worth putting on the list.)
70 - ??? (Unknown driver, plus they can only trudge out a road course car for ovals for so long before it catches up to them...and to think this is the team Johanna Long runs for, unless when she doesn't run it reverts to Jay Robinson trash, which also wouldn't surprise me one bit.)
79 - Paulie Harraka (I have never heard of their sponsor before...but since it's Harraka, he's probably going the distance. Still, he goes on the list just to cover my bases.)

Mixed Martial Earnhardt could snap RJ Bandsma like a twig though.Alpineopossum wrote:Jeffery Earnhardt's nationwide run is over after just four races, but somehow Dexter Stacey is still around.

I'd say the #07 is questionable for parking too. I don't know if Kertus Davis is working with his stepdad Johnny or not, but that car might just park.

@Tom, the 70 is always Jay Robinson trash when Johanna isn't in the car. ML Motorsports only runs races they have sponsorship for (the races Johanna runs) and Jay Robinson Racing runs the rest of them so that they both have a guaranteed starting spot when each team runs.

If ML Motorsports isn't gonna race at Auto Club, will they almost certainly be back with Johanna Long the following race at Texas?

Maddie's Place Reeks like Dexter Stacey...who strikes me as mustier than a high school locker room.

Antman, do more than copy and paste a Jayski entry list in your posts. Add actual content to your posts. Content.

Why GarageCam is awesome, they interview, HAL MOTHERF***ING MARTIN. They also should that the Key/TriStar Armada has to have cars outside the garage because there's no room for them.
Re: Royal Purple 300 - Nationwide
That reminds me: I'm not sure what they are going to do for Mid-Ohio. My dad raced there many, many times and there are not enough garages or pit stalls for all 40 cars. I don't really know where they could squeeze more in. Maybe on the false grid outside the Carasell? They could just do a shorter field or maybe have start and park cars share pit stalls with full race teams.
Re: Royal Purple 300 - Nationwide
Also for those who are wondering, Tony Raines will drive the 70 car for today's Nationwide Race at Fontana.

You must have been watching another race then. That race was actually...not bad. If the Nationwide Series can produce as much good racing at a track like Fontana, then I think there's going to be a bunch of good races to watch at the rest of the tracks they're going to for the rest of the year.

Alright race. Kyle wins....whatever. Racing was pretty good otherwise.

That was actually a damn good race, something I normally can't say about Fontana.

Re: Royal Purple 300 - Nationwide
For a race at Auto Club Speedway, that actually was a decent race..
Re: Royal Purple 300 - Nationwide
I hope the Cup race tomorrow is at least this good. It was kind of disappointing when the field spread out so much at the end, but this was one of the best NASCAR races I've seen at Fontana.

Hopefully the new car will do it some good. We got a decent race at Vegas, so I wouldn't call it a long shot for the same at Fontana.

Unfortunately, I missed a majority of this race, but the 30 or so laps that I saw were very interesting. Intrigued as to what the Cup boys will do tomorrow.
Re: Royal Purple 300 - Nationwide
We got some five wide racing during the race. Pretty interesting. Actually makes me a little excited for tomorrow.

Wow even before the race, I already predicted it was Kyle Busch's race to lose.

Really not a hard prediction to make if you look at stats.
