2013 ASCC Car Due Date + Ratings
The first race will be run on June 4. I will take late entries, but they may miss the first race(s) or be thrown back to part-time status.
There is a hard limit of 33 cars per race. Texas may or may not take a full field of 42, stay tuned for that.
Ratings:
These will work similarly to last year's, with a twist.
The base ratings for drivers are as follows:
For each of these sections, you can place one 70 and one 80 for the maximum values. This is just like it was before.
Here's where the fun part comes in. This year, I'm giving you the option of making your driver suck and to what extent that driver sucks, so you can give me any number between 0 and 50 for the minimum value. The minimum value will always be the same number.
There is an incentive to do this other than for potential terrible backmarker schtick.
Take the minimum value you want (anywhere from 0 and 50, remember), subtract it from 50, and that will be added to your car's reliability -- both minimum and maximum. Pick your poison.
For any driver in the following teams:
- Team Saar USA
- James Dalton Racing
- Ocean Motorsports
For any driver in the following teams:
- Power Surge America
- Evans Motorsports
- Camelot Racing
- Palmer Stiles Racing
For everyone else*:
* Exceptions may apply at my own discretion.
All pitcrews will be 0-100.
There will be a special Papy_ai.ini file made for the ASCC just so that the races can become quasi-endurance events. I will post this after the first race.
----------
Not every race will be run by yours truly, and just like last season, I'm looking for the ASCC to be like last season, where each race may be reviewed by a different person.

If I can fit it into my hectic schedule, I'll attempt to run one race. No not the race with my namesake, I don't want to be accused of favoritism even though I would probably slam my namesake repeatedly

I may be interested in running one of the races. I think I have enough time this summer and fall in my schedule to help out.

I think I have the capability of doing a race and then someone else can do the video of it.
Re: 2013 ASCC Car Due Date + Ratings
Keep in mind that if you at least got ratings to me, I made a generic car for you.
The first race's entry list is all but set, I just need to test and see if trying the Texas 500 at Van Zandt is worth it or not. Otherwise, back to Fort Worth!

Sorry for the bump, but I was just wondering if there was any update on this series since it has gone silent for almost three months?
