CHAOS EVERYWHERE!

Most cars in this race either spun into the tires in the Esses, died into a tire wall, or blew up. David Hetzel looked like a lock to win, but blew up with just a few laps to go. Most of the cars that made it through were simply too slow to wreck.

Salvatore Torregrossa qualified the #43, but will be replaced by Bella Kuznetsova for the main race.

After the race, the #69л team of Vitaly Mavrodi mysteriously vanished from the garage area, without a trace. Rumor has it that the team was funded by a massive ponzi scheme, but due to not being at the track the final transfer spot went to Flint Stoneman who was about 13 seconds off the pace.

The 20 car of Nomar Tsereteli qualifies for it's first race all season, and several other drivers will be making their debuts this week.

Bell offers to have Torregrossa run #75 in main event

Remember how Chris Benson got his ride in the PCC Cup Series? Because of the #75 Mr. Goodcents Tonare, Preston Bell. He's offering perhaps another one of these opportunities to Italian driver Salvatore Torregrossa for the 12th round of the season at the Volgograd Circuit. (The OldRing track, I assume)

"This guy seems to be really good on the road courses. He really deserves a chance at runnin' this race. Ah'm already out of the points race, just about, so ah don't think it'll matter if ah let Salvatore run this week."

Bell has had a rather poor season aside from his victory in Chicago a few races back. Although, all the Stephans Racing cars appear to have had their share of struggles in recent races, including championship runner-up Barry Juveno. It seems, however, that Bell has given up hope on championship contention just before the halfway mark of the season. Bell's large amount of charity work and friendly demeanor has earned him a massive amount of fan support.
