Neon visual effect?
What's the best way to achieve this type of look for neon fonts:

There's a Neon Glow effect under the Art Style section of the Effects menu.
At least, there is in X2 (which I have). Might be the same in X.

I used that effect on the Loser Shop truck I painted a while back but it wasn't as bright/intense as the ones I've seen elsewhere though. I thought maybe they were doing something different I didn't know about.

White text with blurred out color layer on top. Set to screen, addition, or to Lighten (Only*)
*In GIMP
I used Gaussian blur and set it to 50... though you might have to adjust according to how you want it.
