Yeah, the one time the Duels have the most potential to be interesting and the stakes won't even be that high.

To all those already getting sad over the 44 car entry list:

This is by NO means an official entry list. Take it with a grain of salt. There probably will be more.

These are the Only cars we know of right now. Trust me, there wont be just 45 Cars showing up Feburary 16th for practice.

I doubt anything will compare to the strangeness of last year

TriStar, Turn One, etc. generally don't enter this race because it isn't profitable to start and park in the 500 (although it is if you park in the Duels).

Daytona Speed weeks. The birthplace of the last minute entry. That being said I'm interested to see what kind of single car speed we're going to see. They were fast during last month's test.

Judging by pole qualifying, Stewart-Hass has an awesome setup, but the car doesn't drive itself.

Well, she was fast in testing, fastest in practice, and now is the pole sitter. Quite an interesting storyline.

Quit being butthurt. It's not like Gordon is the only driver that has ever retaliated/intentionally wrecked someone else, and it was once. It's not like he's gonna massacre the whole field.

The Budweiser Duels will determine that on Thursday. Today was all about the front row.

I don't even know why the drivers who qualify on the front row even need to race in the duels, their starting posititions are already determined.

Well okay then. I think the only Danica and Jeff have is that they must make sure they don't wreck in their Budweiser Duels, otherwise they'll go to backup cars and to the rear of the field.

I don't mean to say this but I am amazed that a woman could qualify on the pole for Sprint Cup race, but it's for the Daytona 500, the biggest and first race of the season.

Right on. For the first time in a long time, I was actually rooting for her to today.

I do hope that Brian Keselowski can make the field, but that #52 Hamilton-Means Toyota needs to find a lot of speed.

Keselowski's not gonna make it. Unless there's a wreck that takes out like half of the field, he's not gonna make it on speed alone.

Any possibility that Michael Waltrip could make the field, implying he won't do why he did last year if you know what I mean?

If that's the case them I'm glad he will as long as he doesn't get wrecked in his Duel race. Does he have to race his way in?

I'm assuming he does. He doesn't have a PCP or anything to fall back on.
