My TMPedia pages

Post by BigDaddy24 on Sat Feb 09, 2013 2:23 pm

I'v been thinking about deleting my TMPedia pages. Ever since my TMPedia pages were created, they've caused me nothing but problems here on the forum. Seems like there's too much of a conformist attitude on TMPedia, as anyone who has too much creativity gets shot down...

So yeah, I'm probably just gonna delete them.

you don't have to delete them, we're just giving you creative criticism, which apparently you're not taking to well...

Well, after looking at it a little more closely, the criticism was fine from everyone except 1 person in particular (I won't say their name), and thankfully someone took action and emptied the talk page for my driver because I would have definitely gotten into a "war of words" with that person.

Also, someone said my driver was on the "Jahgee" level of SoD. Quite frankly I had no idea what the hell they were talking about (Haven't been on here long enough). Anyone care to clue me in?

Figured I'd let my discontent with that whole situation show somehow.

Not gonna lie, I was pretty pissed about some of the things that were said. But I'm willing to let all that go... this time.

Posted some guidelines on my user page to make sure something like this doesn't happen again.

Took one of my guidelines too far and got myself put on a 2 week vacation from TMPedia. Sometimes I gotta know when to just bite my damn tongue Fail

Okay, things are starting to get way out of hand, so let me just set the damn record straight: Cut it out with the cheap shots, okay? I get it already! That guideline about those who had drivers on SoD being on a short leash was stupid. At the time I thought that it was hypocritical to lambast someone about an unrealistic character when you have/had one yourself, especially since I never really comment on other drivers pages to begin with. But the other ones do have purposes. Look, I'm a guy that gets angry rather easily okay, and I put them there because 1 of my driver talk pages had already gotten out of hand, and I didn't want it to happen again because I don't want that moment when I go completely postal and get myself banned to occur. Now I'll reword them to sound less "threatening" when I get unblocked, but I don't wanna go any further than that. I also might get rid of the aforementioned guideline all the negative crap you guys put on there, as it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Honestly, they don't even seem that threatening to me. I don't even know how it got misconstrued that way. I know I have a "take no s***" mentality when it comes to my pages, but my intention was NEVER to threaten anyone. It was just to inform everyone what sets me off so people wouldn't accidentally set me off. I've seen what you guys have been saying and honestly, I'm beyond mad right now... bro. I'm not too happy with you guys "hitting me while I'm already down" (posting stuff while I'm blocked and I can't do a thing about it). From here until the 1st ARLA or TM Lights race is posted, with the exception of this, the "Rolling the Dice", and "VS" game threads, I'm personally shutting myself out from posting on threads. This is so I won't do anything else that might get me into trouble.

I know I'm not helping here but, why is it everything we do to you a cheap shot? you get banned from TMPedia for two weeks, Cheap shot. we criticize you on your guidelines and why they really aren't needed, cheap shot.

you may have anger issues, but you're not helping yourself when you post stuff like this.

The criticism is fine, but you could've taken it to me via PM. It's really the snide remarks that I'm not okay with.

I wasn't directing that at you, I just think the arguement in general is stupid... Why can't everyone just get along without fighting.

Re: My TMPedia pages

Three things you should be aware of;

1. TMPedia and EFR are two separate entities.

2. Wrong section.

3. Son, did you honestly read the forum rules? Because I could have sworn that I wrote...

Cynon wrote:- Adult behavior is expected, nothing less.

- No flames or repeated personal attacks: The idea is to make this a pleasant environment to discuss NR2003 painting and modding, or just racing in general, not a schoolyard, or name-calling and rock-throwing festival.

- Please do not bring drama from other forums or online leagues here. Likewise, do not bring drama from here to other forums.

- If you take offense to something someone does, then take it to them privately (PMs are great things), because as mentioned by ernhrtfan, adult behavior is expected. Take whatever problems you have with someone to PMs. In other words, if you decide one day that Cynon is being a dick to someone unfairly, and you don't like it, shoot him a PM saying so.

I thought I did...

The rules aren't hard to abide by. Um... I'm not sure how high and mighty you think you are (judging by the fact that you have stated that you are aware of your anger issues but clearly are doing nothing about them...), but I've got some news for you, son, you're not a bigshot.

BigDaddy24 wrote:Well, after looking at it a little more closely, the criticism was fine from everyone except 1 person in particular (I won't say their name), and thankfully someone took action and emptied the talk page for my driver because I would have definitely gotten into a "war of words" with that person.

Take your own advice next time. When I say next time... I mean in 14 days... toodles!
