Scott McLaughlin putting Volvo ON HIS FUCKING BACK. Volvo's first hit-out was successful, with McLaughlin qualifying 2nd for Race 2. James Whincup won the pole for Race 1, Craig Lowndes won the pole for Race 2.

For the third full race I've seen, Race 2 was pretty good.

Well, this new AZ restart zone is going to be looked into, after Bright just rolled in the Senna chicane thanks to everyone bunching up after Whincup had a shocking restart. Thankfully, all drivers involved are okay

& now van Gisbergen & Rick Kelly have been penalised for 'jumping' the restart because of Whincup's shitty restart. What horse shit

The Top-3 for Race 7 Qualifying remained the same at the end of the race, with Fabian Coulthard taking his first win of the season, following by Shane van Gisbergen coming 2nd and Dale Wood getting the first podium of his career in 3rd place.

Lee Holdsworth took a shock first win for Mercedes and for his team, Erebus Racing in V8 Supercars. Mark Winterbottom followed close behind to take 2nd place, while Race 7 winner Fabian Coulthard rounded out the podium with 3rd place.

Mark Winterbottom win Race 9, claiming his first victory of the year in a race which saw 6 drivers receive a drive-through penalty for speeding in the pit lane. James Courtney was 2nd while Tim Slade rounded out the podium with 3rd place. Full results coming soon.

Yeah, I call bullshit on the speeding penalties. Especially considering nearly all of them benefited Frosty. Some serious changes need to made to these penalties, cause they don't fit the crime at all

Even Mark Skaife admitted that the penalties don't fit the crime. Some guys who got busted for speeding such as Rick Kelly and Fabian Coulthard claimed they weren't speeding, whereas Scott McLaughlin who also got busted admitted his mistake and served the penalty as normal. Having 6 drivers out of a 25 car field, which is a nearly a quarter of it, raises eyebrows of whether it's the drivers being too quick at the wrong time, or maybe the Officials are handing out penalties for nothing. It makes so sense, and the Officials in V8 Supercars have a history of making the most inconsistent calls not just in Australian Motorsport, but in all of Motorsport.

Russell Ingall has been fined $15,000, $10,000 suspended to the end of 2014, after making criticism to the officials after being handed a drive-through penalty following a collision between him and David Wall in Race 7 at Winton.

Taking notes from NASCAR, I see.

Garth Tander and James Courtney one-off scheme for Pukekohe, to celebrate ANZAC Day.

Saving that photo produce amusing results.

In a rarity (and by rare, I mean first time in about 20+ years), there will be a points race on a Friday, in what is a massively retarded format.

Friday

Practice 1: 11:30am (30 minutes)
Qualifying: 12:15pm (20 minutes)
Race 10: 1:30pm

So basically, if your car isn't good off the truck (or plane, since they're in New Zealand), you're going to have a crap weekend.

Full results from Race 10:

In other news, David Wall's crash in Race 10 means that unfortunately his car is damaged beyond repair, so his weekend is already over.

Mark Winterbottom won Race 11, while Shane Van Gisbergen took out Race 12 for his first win of the season. Winterbottom's 2nd place in Race 12 means he now leads the championship by just 2 points ahead Craig Lowndes with one more race left in the weekend.

Scott McLaughlin gave the Volvo S60 it's first ever V8 Supercar Race win in Race 14 from the Barbagallo Raceway, while Craig Lowndes took out Race 15 to close the gap in the championship.

Actually there was no difference in points between Winterbottom and Lowndes.
