Re: ASA Brute (2012)
Not trying to be a Debbie Downer there Squidward but it appears to me that you're using the same text (Fighting Spirit TBS) that my manufacturer Juneau uses. Obviously I didn't make the text font myself so I can't really tell you what to do with it but for the sake of brand identity it would probably be best if you changed it.
The bases are interesting to say the least but you should probably work on those a little bit more. Try actually making a design with the pen tool or something and line it up in Carviewer. You're doing alright so far though. Take people's comments into consideration because as most experienced painters eventually figure out they actually help.

I don't know exactly to be honest with you. Someone mentioned the comparison between your last name and Squidward the other day on Teamspeak I think and it stuck with me so now I know you as Squidward.

If you're going to look like a real driver, might as well look like one of the best in the world.
Which is funny because you act NOTHING like him... and that's a good thing.

I am really lovin' that Brute temp. You did a hell of a job getting the 90's look with one of the fictional car manufacturers. Very good job, this is definitely one of my favorites so far.

I appreciate it, I may rename it the Merit though, seeing as it would be smaller than a Brute, but it's up in the air

And... Changed the 189 Paint Scheme (Tried as I must, I attempted to replace the old linked paint scheme with the new one in photobucket, it likes to play stupid and not correctly upload it, so I had to upload the new one to a new link >)

Yeah... well, that's the point, the original template was an Oldsmobile and not something more pointy like the fire bird or something similar, I'm not sure how it would look on a different template because I can't seem to find .psd of ASA models -.-

Well, found the .psp and got the trial of Paint Shop Pro, converted the templates to .psd and worked from there... now a thunderbird may be showing up...

Nascarboy426 wrote:Are those Inglesby lights on the front?
They are shaped like my Halcyon Lights, I tried to make them as close to both the Halcyon and TM Canon Lights, I used them on my Brute for both the Indy Race and in the Decatur One-Off entry.
The Inglesby lights I think are cut off by the grill, making a flat edge towards the nose, these are angled or rounded/pointed off at the ends.
The main reason they look like that is:
A: The Angle of the lights changed from about 30 - 45 degrees to about 5 - 10 degrees, plus the indentation/bevel has a similar shape, the actual headlights look like my Halcyon Headlights (ASCC entries)
Plus the Inglesby headlights don't have the HID (High Intensity Discharge) Socket in their headlights, the Brute does.
While similar, they are not the same (though I believe it may have been with that lights file I received and used). I tried to incorporate my own changes.
But if anyone has a problem with it, I can find a way to change it out.
