Things finally go right for Richardson
"It's about time something good happened! God is on my side for this one, I hope he gets me the win I wanted at Watkins Glen. I'll take 7th though."

Olenick "Angry" About Second Lap Wreck

"What the hell was that?" That about sums up how Olenick responded to his run at the Firecracker 200, which ended after the second lap.

"Someone over at Ocean [Motorsports] needs to explain to me why their driver felt the need to dump me halfway through the second lap."

Olenick heads into Watkins Glen second in points, 13 points behind Garth McCallister Jr.

Spoiler:
Nash Limps Home 19th at Daytona

"Hey, once again, eh?!" yelled Thomas Nash over his radio as he was swiped up into another wreck this season. Nash, who started 11th in the Firecracker 200 at the Daytona International Speedway, was able to repair some of the damages of the car and finished 19th, 2 laps down even though his car was off the pace.

"It's just sad that the incompetence of 2 or 3 guys out there ruin the days of 10 or 15. They really kill the good racing at these tracks. I hate these superspeedways. Thankfully we were able to fix the damage. The Quaker State boys did a magnificent job this weekend. Just wish we could actually do some with our car. At least we got a couple of laps led out of it," said a dissatisfied Nash.

The lap 8 wreck ruined the chances of Nash gaining valuable points in the championship. He currently sits 28th in points (99 points), 84 behind points leader Garth McCallister, Jr. who won the Firecracker 200, his second straight win of the season.

Lester disappointed with DNF, had fun with flip

Casey Lester: I broke a milestone: getting my car off the ground and doing at least one flip! Very Happy But in seriousness, I hate it for the guys and our sponsors. Daytona's always been pretty unpredictable.
