- Spoiler:
- Kinasa furious at Griffins antics
After best driver of the year Ryan Griffin took out Andrea Kinasa and caused big one #2, Kinasa wasn't going to walk away happy, after the race, Andrea Kinasa reportedly punched Ryan Griffin in the face. She was then dragged away by her husband.
"Griffin better not cross me again, fucking asshole took out a very good car. With his antics, he's better off having his license revoked, he has no place for being in this series."

Re: Race 13: TM Lights @ New York
- Spoiler:
- Adams not upset about engine, more furious about Griffin
'Congrats to Blood on his victory. I fought him till the engine gave way, which is unfortunate that it gave out with a few metres left but a top 10 is all we need to maintain a good gap in the points. Though having said that, the only reason we scored a top 10 today was because of Griffin. I don't care who you are, you don't wreck & take out half the field because you can't control your temper. If he wrecks & costs me the championship, you bet I'll be furious.

Re: Race 13: TM Lights @ New York
- Spoiler:
- Brian Morris on his radio after the Mike Andrews incident:
"GODDAMNIT! THAT MOTHERFUCKING ASSHOLE! WE HAD A CHANCE TO WIN, AND THAT DICK TOOK US OUT! WHY THE FUCK WAS EVERYONE TRYING TO TAKE US OUT TONIGHT?! FIRST, KENDALL NEARLY PUTS US IN THE PIT WALL, THEN GRIFFIN LOSES BRAIN POWER, AND THEN, DUMBASS ANDREWS RUINS OUR WHOLE NIGHT! PIECE OF SHIT!"
Morris attempted to go after Andrews after he stepped out of his car, but was quickly restrained by crew members and officials, and taken to the hauler, where he was locked in the uniform closet for a brief time to cool down.

Re: Race 13: TM Lights @ New York
- Spoiler:
- Davison very critical in words after New York Race
Interdrain Motorsports driver James Davison started on the Pole for this race, but it didn't go as planned. After getting some minor damage in the first wreck, he was still able to stay with the lead pack after the restart but got flipped over in the big one started by Ryan Griffin and Andrea Kinasa. Davison climbed out of hid car and walked away without any injuries but was left very angry about the crash and didn't have nice things to say about it.
"Seriously, do guys like Griffin want to come to a race and start wrecking other drivers like that?! It's bloody ridiculous. Another thing, the moves he was making were very dangerous, it could've been a much worse wreck if someone like me got seriously hurt or even killed for that matter, and also he caused a crash in a straight line. No respectful racing driver ever does something like that, but it was completely uncalled for. I think he needs to go find a job somewhere else instead of Motor Racing because his aggressiveness that we saw was completely out of line. He doesn't use his head, he uses his own self, taking too many risks and look what happened."

Re: Race 13: TM Lights @ New York
- Spoiler:
- Jefferson's Day Has Quick End, As Usual
John Jefferson found himself involved in the first incident, and while it didn't look like the #37 Exide Batteries Bolden hit the inside wall too hard, he brought the car into the garage and didn't come back out. It's been one miscue after another for this team, a disastrous season all around. Perhaps them deciding it wasn't worth fixing the car was their best move of the season.
When asked about this "wreck and park" strategy, team owner Tom Delgado criticized his entire Lights operation for quitting on the race. "10th place was 11 laps down. Surely we could have made repairs and been fast enough to avoid losing 11 laps. I have no place in my organization for quitters. All of these guys will be seeking new employment when the season's over. If there's one thing I cannot stand, it's a group of people that quit after the slightest bit of adversity" Delgado said of his team's season.

Re: Race 13: TM Lights @ New York
- Spoiler:
- Archer Harris's day comes to quick end at New York
Archer Harris was caught up in the first caution of the Round of New York on Lap 6, where he wound up slapping the inside wall with the driver's side of the #79 car. Here's what Harris had to say in an interview at the end of the race.
"Well... that was interesting. Thought I didn't get that much damage from the wreck on lap 6, but I guess hitting the inside wall did more damage than I originally thought. But good god, what was Ryan Griffin doing? That was undoubtedly the most pathetic driving I have ever seen in my professional career. Why this dumbass hasn't had his license revoked yet is a mystery, this is the third time this year he's done this crap. If he ever makes it to Master Cup, he'll get eaten alive."

Re: Race 13: TM Lights @ New York
{OCC: Wow, well at least I can say I've got storylines to work with. And I need to take another look at the ratings I sent in. No spoiler needed.}
GLM Owner wants assault charges brought against Kendall; Griffin makes thoughts perfectly clear
The TM Lights round of New York found itself with a big controversy. On lap 15, Andrea Kinasa and Ryan Griffin got together triggering a big crash that put James Davison on his roof. But, the story doesn't end there.
After exiting his car in the garage area, Griffin was approached by Kinasa. Kinasa came forward and swung her fist across Griffin's face knocking the glasses he was wearing off. She also shoved him before being restrained by her husband Scott Morales. Two crew members from the #18 car restained Griffin as well.
As Kinasa was lead away however, Roger Kendall, who was one of the driver caught up in the crash, walked up to Griffin and slugged the driver before being restrained by officials.
GLM owner, Jim More, had to be held back himself after Kendall punched Griffin. More was more than livid. He made his thoughts clear.
"That was chicken [expletive] on the part of Kendall. That incident was between Andrea and Ryan and he decides to assault my driver. I'm not standing for that."
Griffin meanwhile was ushered away to the officials hauler to discuss what happened on track. The 22 year-old has been called wreckless and a menace by his fellow drivers. Griffin was later seen exiting the officials trailer with girlfriend (OCC: This is suppose to take place before the Rockford concert proposal) Lucy Barnton. Griffin didn't give any comment at the time, but later release this statement:
"First, I want to apologize to James Davison and those other drivers involved. As far as Andrea goes, I was shoved up the track and had the car get sideways on me. I have no ill will toward Andrea and she has every right to be angry with me. I don't know who came down to the car and assaulted me though. If that came from Andrea, I understand but if not then it was uncalled for."
More has told officials that he wants Griffin to press charges for Kendall punching him. Whether Griffin does is yet to be determine. More has also stated that nether Griffin nor him will try to appeal a possible suspension. More also stated that Vijay Pushanda will drive the #18 at California should Griffin be suspended.

- Spoiler:
- Lareau gets first TM Lights podium in New York debacle
In a race full of chaos, Brandon Lareau managed to avoid all the carnage and came home with a 3rd place finish, the best of his career. "Just glad we don't have to pay a repair bill." said Lareau to reporters after the race. When asked about Ryan Griffin, Lareau stated: "He needs to get out of this sport, bullshit like that doesn't belong anywhere. It will be disgraceful to the competitors if Griffin didn't get parked for at least the remainder of the season."

BREAKING NEWS: Griffin will not run the reason of TML season; Pushanda to take over
Just a couple of hours after his statement was released to the press. Ryan Griffin has reportly told GLM that he is voluntarily removing himself from the #18 for the remainder of the TM Lights season. More is apparently standing by his driver's decision.

Re: Race 13: TM Lights @ New York
Second Place for Taylor
For the third time this season, Cameron Taylor finished in second. "This is great. We're always in the mix and we're ripe for a win. I think we can go after the championship, too." Taylor finished second to defending champion Thurston Blood. The 68 team is second in points after New York and they are chasing Australian Troy Adams for the championship. Other contenders include Nathan Ferguson, Andrea Kinasa, and Ike Durbin. Durbin's teammate, Michigan native Ryan Griffin was the center of controversy at New York.
"What Ryan needs to understand is that this isn't like most sports. If you mess up around here you can kill someone or seriously injure them. Just ask Woody Watts, he still walks with a huge limp. Or ask the families of Kristen Jankovic, Scott Hamilton, Frank Hackson, and Steve Marshall. This isn't a game. It's a life and death matter and Ryan needs to realize that. Especially at a track as fast as this one. I'm not blaming the track. It's good for racing and it draws a big crowd. But you can do crap like Ryan did anywhere but especially not here." Taylor commented.
