Re: Race 14: TM Lights @ Fontana
- Spoiler:
- Davison very angry after crashing out
After flipping over for the 2nd race in a row and driving away, James Davison took out his frustration over drivers.
"Really, really is this what our Sport's come down to? Flipping over 2 races in a row is such a horrible experience. I just saw the replays of my accident and clearly it shows everything, some drivers just do not know how to use their damn heads on the racetrack and come up with a death wish."
It's absolutely ridiculous, we saw this horrid kind of driving from the previous race at New York. This Series is turning into a recession now. I'm not saying I'm gonna quit the TM Lights, but these drivers need to go back to Level 1 of driving because this is just stupid, and I've had enough. These guys need to think again and actually use their heads properly before they make their move, because that's the kind of driving that will get you into a lot of trouble and clearly it goes to show how much pain this Sport is in right now."

It's absolutely ridiculous, we saw this horrid kind of driving from the previous race at New York, and we've had 5 fatalities from the Hanmore Word Championships at Texas. It's all turning into a recession now, and I've had enough. - Spoiler:
- Motoko takes podium at Fontana.
Sakura Motoko, who qualified towards the front of the field would take the podium in a rather exciting race for most of the TM Lights drivers. Motoko commented that she thought the several drivers had lost it in the head and that they needed to go back to driving school.

- Spoiler:
- Archer Harris furious following Fontana
"Motherf***er. MOTHERF***ER. The same bulls*** happens every week because someone drives with their head up their ass. This time, it was Thomas Kade or whatever his name is in that 15 car. Stupid son of a b**** decides to wreck the ENTIRE FRONT PACK with just a few laps to go. Don't know why the hell this guy still has a ride in TM Lights, he's been nowhere all year, he has about as much talent as Ryan Griffin, and pulls the same crap as him. The sooner he gets out, the better." Archer Harris said, after the Lap 52 accident which ended his day.

This is the first time I haven't finished all year & look who caused it. What the f*** was that! It was only lap 3 & Auxier decided to be damn bulldozer. She has hit something nearly every bloody race this year & something has to be done about it.

Re: Race 14: TM Lights @ Fontana
- Spoiler:
- Delighted Morris overcomes early mistake to grab second win of 2012
Like his win in the opening race of the season in Las Vegas, Brian Morris was dealt an unfortunate circumstance. In Vegas, he was spun out trying to enter the pit lane. Luckily, it brought out a caution, and he was able to take the lead late and hold off any and all chargers.
When he scraped the wall earlier tonight in Fontana, he didn't get a caution. Fortunately for Morris, the mistake came early, and he was able to work his way back to the front throughout the race, passing Eric Molina for the race win coming back to a caution that would ensure a finish under yellow.
For the Canadian Morris, the win represents a bounce back for a season that hasn't been all roses since Vegas.
"I'm so happy to get back to Victory Lane," Morris said. "We've gone through a lot of crap since winning in Vegas, some bad runs, and a lot of things happened to us that wasn't our fault."
Morris also navigated through some crashes in the back and front of the pack on his way to victory.
"Yeah, we had to deal with a lot of idiots again," Morris said. "You'd think the environment in pack racing would be a little more controlled since it's close quarters racing, but I guess some people like to think they're invincible. We had a fast car, but a lot of luck went our way, too."
MT Motorsports owner Fred Caldwell is also happy to see Morris back in the Winner's Circle.
"A lot of people said I was crazy when I signed him for 2011," Caldwell said. "They said he was a road course guy, that he'd never do well on ovals. Well, his first two wins in a stock car were on superspeedways, so he can drive any track on the calendar."
Morris has three races left (Loudon, British Columbia, and Decatur) to work his way back into the Top 10 in points.
"That's definitely our goal for these last three races," Morris said. "Get at least one more win, and finish in the Top 10 in points. It would cap off a great year for us."
