Noob Questions with Carviewer

I'm currently painting the cars for the POWRS, and I am attempting to utilize carviewer to help me out. However, whenever I try to open a saved tga file in it, the indycar (using newest Indycar mod) just appears all white. It's probably an easy solution, but any help would be nice for my painting to take the next step.

It's because you have to save the image file as .jpg or .bmp, not .tga.

If you find the indycar folder with the carviewer file, save the .bmp using gimp and then convert it to .jpg (saving in the same folder) using paint. There you go.
