Kevin Harvick to SHR in 2014

Marty Smith reports that Kevin Harvick to join SHR starting in 2014.

Wow...uh...I can honestly say I didn't see that one coming. Such a big decision so far in advance.

So, a fourth car, huh? I wonder if Harvick will bring sponsorship.

Ya never know, he might win a championship or two at this team.

As I mentioned in the other thread, its makes alot of sense what you think about this: Harvick is fed up with RCR, the Grand sons are coming in a hurry, Harvick Gets along with Stewart and he has secure sponsorship in the form of Jimmy Johns and Rheem.

I agreed with spannerhead29. Newman could not be back in 2014.

I think he is, read the espn article and it sounds like SHR may be the next major four-car team

Or is it? I know I'll sound crazy, but are we sure Childress isn't saving the best equipment for his Grandsons instead of his former #1 and others?

This. Newman will probably be the red-headed stepchild in the SHR group now that Danica's going full-time and Harvick might replace him in 2014 of he isn't resigned.

If SHR were to go to 4 cars, having SHR AND Hendrick, you have to wonder how much that would extend Rick Hendrick's resources, not unless SHR is planning on doing it's own thing eventually

If Roush has the kind of money to power as many cars that it does, Hendrick can double it easy and still be okay.
