It seems like NASCAR is trying to make it's third tier series the most diverse series and leaving the premier series to mostly cookie cutters just to troll us.

I hope you guys realize ESPN Motorsports broke the story. Everytime they do, it never ends up happening. Don't want to rain on everyone's parade just telling you that you might not want to get your hopes up...

Welp. I went onto the track website today and found out that the Prelude won't be on the schedule next year. What a bummer, especially since it was a charity event. I'm glad I got the chance to go when I did this year because it was a lot of fun. Makes me wonder what kind of impact it will have on decision of having the truck series on the schedule next year. I guess we'll see what will unfold in the next couple of weeks.

Eh I never really cared about the prelude anyways.

I really doubt this is serious. There is an immense amount of work needed to get Eldora up to Nascar spec. I don't think anyone in their right mind would put up the kind of money needed just for a trucks race.
