Grand-am driver in America. This was the International part of the race in the beginning.

Of course I had to be on the farm without a TV or mobile reception when silly shit happened. Apparently Jamie Whincup called out V8 Supercars officials for throwing a NASCAR caution, even though there was legitimate debris in the racing line.

He pulls away moving to the left, thus bypassing Hinchcliffe, only to turn right back into the path of Hinchcliffe, hitting him, and triggering the nasty crash.

He was trying to avoid Power & wouldn't have seen Hinchcliffe going that slow because the drivers sit so low in the car

Liuzzi was moving to the left long before Power. All he had to do was move out to the wall, or let off for a millisecond (he had the room), and settle in behind Power.

So other than the standing start shenanigans, how was the racing in general, and who won? I plan on watching the race tonight, which will be my first in months.
